It all started in the Gamecube forum, if I remember correctly. Back then I even made the Gamecube recommendation sticky. Looking back on this I seem to care a lot less about these forums these days :P

I still kind of begrudge you for recommending Billy Hatcher. *shakes fist*

My god! This thread just wouldn't die! I love it. :)

Do you guys know that I made the very first version in 2003? It's amazing that it lasted this long. Jordan was one of the first people who posted in it if memory serves along with my friend BloodCurse. I'm starting to think that this thread will outlast me.

Well, carry on.

Also, I need help. How in the hell does anyone get past time attack normal level 14? This is the one where your attack and defense is up, but you can't use any special moves while the CPU plays as normal. If I can't use my special moves, how the hell am I supposed to do this?

That particular challenge was really annoying for me as well, but I managed to pull it off by a lot of turteling with Zangief and then using his heavy punch/ kick when I saw an opining.

Give it a try.

I absolutely love HD remix, and I will say that it is my favorite current gen fighter, but I have to agree with OP in saying that the arcade mode is just cheap (on the hardest setting that is). I've played plenty of matches online and I can't say there are many people who come close to the AI in that game.

The other difficulty settings are much more manageable, but they too still feel cheap in a way. SFIV's arcade mode is much, much more balanced regardless of what setting you choose to pick, though.

I have to vote against getting the EX2 as I personally had a terrible experience with the thing. Granted I am rough with my controllers/ sticks, but that thing is definitely not built to last, and it also has a cheap feeling to it, which is understandable considering the price.

I highly recommend investing in the TE stick, because it's really as good as everyone says it is, and everything about it feels just right. I plan on paying someone to mod it so that it works with my 60GB PS3 and Wii, so then all my arcade games will benefit from this godly stick.:D

I had some totally awesome matches with DC today. Although I lost most of the matches, I really didn't mind. I learned a lot and found a few new combos. I main Sakura and the last fight ended with me doing the exShunpukyaku to the Ultra combo to win the last match. Ahh, I was trying to pull that off all like, 20 or so matches we played. Finally I did it. I've done it before just notagainst him. Anyway, SF4, still wicked fun as anything.

I also main Sakura and DC totally annihilated me!:P It was definitely worth it though since he gave me some awesome tips which I used to finally get to G2 (thanks again man). Although now I can't seem to win a tournament no matter how hard I try, which means I have to up my game yet again. :(
