@sellingthings: I'm on Win 7 64 bit and my Windows Folder alone is over 40GB and Program Files 32 bit and 64 bit folders is just over 20 GB. Many games and applications like to place things in your appdata folder and My Documents folders as well.
If you plan to install anything at all other than the OS to this drive you the 60 GB probably won't cut it... not to mention if you do things like burning discs (do people still do that?) having extra space for virtual memory and things like Shadow Storage that eat up more of your drive, unless you disable the feature. I have a 120 GB SSD just for the OS + some extra programs and I feel like its just big enough for what I do with it.. luckily though I still have a 1 TB HD and 5 TB USB 3 external HD on the side.
@timetraveler_x: Wouldn't it make more sense to compare the Wii (2006) with the PS3 (2006)?
Comparing the Wii U (2012) to a console released 6 years prior doesn't make a lot of sense. Clearly the Wii U was meant to be a next generation console compared to the Wii, so it should be compared to the consoles of that generation; this being the PS4 and Xbox One, as the gap is only a one year difference.
Otherwise this would be the same as comparing the PS1 (1994) to the PS2 (2000).. or that to the PS3 (2006) and again to the PS4 (2013)
Its pretty obvious the system with 6 years of advancements is better than the previous, at least when it comes to raw specs.
That being said, I agree totally that the Wii U is a more advanced piece of technology that the PS3.
Its odd that anyone would even try and argue this.
@postalsam: It was suppose to be. The company was going bankrupt and they poured their heart out into one last game and named it Final Fantasy expecting it to be the last game they would make. Ironically it ended up becoming a hit and was all but final.
Now if only they would fix it so that I can join servers of a specific region, the game might be more playable. Having 100+ ping when I'm used to 40, in a game where everyone is meant to camp is a bit difficult to deal with.
