For the most part it's pretty slick. Some of the icons are pretty awful (presumably the ones that Jony Ive dumped on the marketing department) and I don't get why control centre is a different transparency than notification centre, but lots of nice usability improvements and overall it gets iOS back up there with WP8 in terms of looks. The parallax effect is surprisingly awesome.

I was gonna ask how something so awesome was being dismissed last year as far as soundtrack love was going, but then I remembered it was the same year as Journey and Hotline Miami. Rough year to pick best soundtrack.jg4xchamp
That and all the cool kids played it back in 2011 when it first came out.
Gamespot: the Lake Wobegon of writers, apparently.
That really doesn't fix the problem. The issue was never with the Reaper's motivation (if anything the whole "we are so much more advanced you couldn't even comprehend our motivation" worked really well), it was with the whole starchild/choose-a-colour/non-sequitur-of-a-final-montage clusterf*ck, and changing the Reaper's motivation in and of itself doesn't affect that.
Price cut is almost definitely coming, I'd imagine they're just holding off until the fall since that's when the marketing will have more punch.
Dropping optical support is odd considering it's not exactly a huge port but I think it'll make more sense once they do knock the price down. You have to remember they still have the 4GB SKU kicking around, and since it'll likely hit the $100-150 mark the cost of adding something like optical audio becomes non-trivial.
I've got a Big Green Egg, so all charcoal all the time. It's so magnificient it even heats up as fast as my old gas grill did.
Not to get too tin foil hat-y, but this sounds more like a scheme to cut down on outside food and drink than anything else. I don't think I've ever been to a sporting event or concert where bag checks were significantly holding up the entry line.
lmao they censored the words "naked" and "genitals"Last week's issue of People Magazine had the most disgusting ad on the inside front cover that we have ever seen Kraft produce. A full 2-page ad features a n*ked man lying on a picnic blanket with only a small portion of the blanket barely covering his g*nitals. It is easy to see what the ad is really selling. JML897
That's g*sh d*rn ridiculous.
Anyone else remember the heady days when Sony fans would go apeshit every time MS announced a new exclusive DLC deal?
And it's hard to say if this is even really exclusive DLC. The fact they don't even use the word "content" suggests this is probably more marketing-related than anything else.
I wonder if the money he gave her should legally have been classified as a gift, since he could not give it to her for the service but nevertheless gave it to her.
And if it is classified as a gift, then the case falls apart.
(just a bit of thought, I don't really know how the law works on this)

I don't think that would really apply (at least not in any juristiction with a semblance of logical thought) because there's a much simpler way to look at it: the cash was a payment for her services as an escort, which by definition means he shouldn't have assumed those services include sex. If the judge and/or jury can rub a couple of brain cells together there's no reason for the case to be any more complicated than that.
The more interesting argument would be why didn't the guy start to wonder about the whole escort/prostitute thing before the 30 minutes were up? I mean I'm not an expert on the subject or anything, but if I hired an "escort" for a half hour and still had my pants on at the 15 minute mark I'd probably raise a question or two.
