Stupid article. It's not art, it's business. It's about what the client want. And your job is not to defend publishers and developpers. Your job is for the fans. Do you job. And no, Mass effect 3 is not art. As I said it's a product. It's not finished either. And it's not the property of the ones making it. They have an unspoken contract when releasing mass effect 1 and making it a trilogy. They asked us to buy their unfinished trilogy in good faith that the final product will be satisfying. It's not their property anymore. It's everyone's. Stupid article.

What's the people's deal with those videos? They are great !! Imagine the modders work to make all this? The one being rewarded are them ! Just think if you actually took time to contribute something to the community instead of just complaining below a videos and thinking you are the king of the world, wouldn't you get a kick of seeing your hardwork on one of those videos?

The game is great. Pretty much every one agrees with this. What people hate, are the ridiculous endings that pretty much destroy your whole experience and 5 years of work.

I am not part of this "attack" I do not agree with them, I think it's stupid, and it probably shocked the poor woman. I still do not agree with her either. But I also do not agree with most of this article. Bioware has no right to "to refuse them any kind of service in the future." They can shut them out of the comunity, they can do legal actions at those that went to far, but in the end Bioware is not a charity, and they can not say "we refuse to do business with you". This article is trying to speak in Bioware's defence and is taking the author personal's side too much. The gamers reaction is probably the result of years of building hate for the casualsation (the real cancer of the videogames) of their games. What she said was probably a trigger and it got blown of proportion because Bioware has a big fanbase. And while a small fraction of a fanbase does not dictate a company's action. It is still important. Bioware's job is to take their money after all. Anyway, her comment on fast forwarding in games does make my blood boil in outrage. And it is probably the reason we now have 3 modes to play ME3. But let's not forget she is hardly responsible for the current casual trend that's killing real video games. We have to look at our family members for that, those that never played games until they got a wii. Can we insult them as we did with this woman?

@Leir_Bag Yeah it's bound to get slower. But right now, in the best looking games on my tablet, I almost get x360-like graphics and it was only released a month ago. And those tablets are getting updated every year or two (just look at the ipad, every year it's more powerful : single core 2 years ago, dual core now, quad core in a few months). Every time costing the same amount as before but at least twice as powerful. As you say, it might not continue to get a jump like this every year, but as long as it is sellings tens of millions, they'll update it every year and make it more powerful. While consoles last 8 years... the PS3 is trying to make it 10. When they'll be released the consoles will be more powerful, but each new year tablets will catch up a little bit more. About the controls, the next Razer tablets looks pretty neat with it's integrated dual joysticks and buttons, as for tablets that are already available, the transformer prime comes with a removable keyboard that has an usb port on it. I can actually connect a mouse to play with a kb/mouse combo (which I already did), or connect a gamepad (with cable or bluetooth, which I did as well). So we can have those analogs and face buttons ^^. Ps: I am not saying the tablets are better for gaming. Although you can get some pretty nice setup with some of the android tablets (Apple is too annoyingly controling to let us do whatever we want). I even saw a blog about someone bringing kinect to android tablets ! But in the end I'd rather have a good old PS Vita for gaming. I just wish consoles would get an update a little more often so they woudn't get so obsolete. Every 5 years would be better.

@Rickystickyman My Transformer prime tablet has an nvidia quad core inside and it's as slim as an ipad (even slimer) it can play games in full 3D. The current ipad has a dual core, and the next one soon to be released will also have the same quad core. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dN5AitoYZAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPUmNNHRM5k This is a game made for the dual core version of the nvidia chipset. And the quadcore is now released so the game in the near futur will look fantastic. I think the dual core nvidia chipset for tablets was released a year ago. And a year later, now, the quad core is released. At this speed, I think it's safe to say that in 4 or 5 years from now, the tablets should catch up with consoles. Ps: the N64 was more powerful than the PS1, it's easy enough to see when comparing full 3D games like OOT, mario 64 and PS1 games. As for the GC it is as well more powerful than the PS2 (processor 50% faster, and about half as much more ram as well), the dreamcast and xbox were powerful than the GC (not sure about the Dreamcast... I think it was more powerful).

Voodoo : "Nintendo is cheap and that is why they make money. They will never produce a system that's cutting edge because it would cost more money to make." ---- Nintendo used to make cuting edge products. The NES, the SNES, were ground breaking machines. The N64 was way ahead of the ps1 and saturn graphically, the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2. Nintendo already had a machine showing "3D" years and years ago with the virtual boy. Nintendo is cheap and outdated hardware wise since the Wii. But it wasn't always so. And now Microsoft is turning the same. An xbox 3 only 6 times more powerful than the x360? That's already less powerful than current medium range pc hardware and it's not even released yet, at least one more yet to go! And sony might follow to. The only place that's making progress hardware wise are the smartphones and the tablets. By the time the xbox 3 and the WiiU are in their mid life, tablets will already be more powerful than them.

Darnasian- No he is not over reacting...he sais he is talking about the system itself and the game would be next week. He didn't give a review score. He talked about what's wrong. Since when can you NOT talk about the technology and OS side of a portable device? Anyway, what was said is worrysome, and I really do hope it will be fixed before I get my hands on it... in a year or two, when they give up the idea of those ridiculously priced memory cards.

To be frank, this auction house with real money worries me. Diablo III is about to switch from a game, to a place to make money. I'm not sure how the game will play out in MP, but there will be groups and raids correct? I already see people acting like jackasses because you are not playing fast enough and are ruining their money making curve, or people trying to ninja items they don't need to sell them for money. You can already see people's greed for fake items and fake money, but when real money is involved? How many people will be so disgusted by having "rightfully" lost a 100$ item they will do something stupid to themselves or the other player in real life? Anyway, wasn't gaming a place where you were rewarded for your time and skill? "In its current state, the auction house fulfills its purpose beautifully, enabling those with less spare time these days to create a respectably geared character without slaying so much as a single demon." Sorry but I am disgusted by such a thing. This is an official way of saying, if you have more money and are willing to spend it for virtual items, you have an edge. Even in games with seedy gold purchases made frequents (like WoW) you could only go so far, because everything worth something was bound to you. So gold really was for trade skills and mounts. But this is... just disgusting...

I am torn on the subject. In one hand I love the hardcore side of games, which is why this gen is painful for me. But I've got to admit, I have terrible memory and not having a map can get frustrating. I used to try by remembering the way, but I just couldn't, so I had to draw maps which turned out worse because I kept forgetting important stuff and it was all out of proportion.. So I love the challenge, and it just feels soooo good when you achieve something with the proper challenge, but I still like my maps. I think the best compromise is a map that fills as you explore. You still have the challenge to find things and your way, but once you found it, you don't need to remember and you can concentrate on what's ahead. What REALLY sucks. Are those trail thingy in most recent adventure/rpg game. Like in Fable for exemple. Those that tell you where to go. It just ruins everything, the challenge, the exploration (you don't even look around anymore, you just look at the shiny trail) and any decent sense of achievement.
