They've been bragging about those quantum computers for years on years, I'm yet to see any real progress. I, on the other hand, will alter my DNA to make my schlong longer, just you watch.

@RSM-HQ How dare you call it linear? I distinctively remember I had to run down the same corridor back and forth several times to get a keycard or fix something. And when you can go forward and back through the same sections you've be dozens of times before (which the game forced you time and time again), that's almost open world right there.

@udubdawgz1 Doom 3, once the initial excitement subsided, was boring as hell. Doom 1/2, on the other hand, was fun as hell throughout.

Walking around in pretty much exact same corridors to fetch a part or to fix something for 15+ hours. No thanks. This is one of those rare moments where I wish the campaign was shorter. It was just too damn repetitive and the then amazing graphics couldn't save it. I think I'd rather play the first doom again.

@brockelley "The company [Oculus VR] launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund development of their first product, the Oculus Rift, a ground-breaking virtual reality headset for immersive gaming."

So, yeah gaming is kind of the whole point of the device, and plenty of people will be getting it just for gaming.

@ecurl143 I disagree, from the perspective of the universe it's all same old, same old.
