This is quite an odd statement. First, it initially implies that Sony isn't paying them to put the game on PS Plus, which they do, so they're not "giving it away". Second, those numbers are inflated to a ridiculous point. 22 million players? There's no way that's true. You can't count a player as someone who played it once in a friend's house. That's just plain stupid.
It's sad we live in an era where "what it looks like" is far more important that "what it actually is." Nobody gains from this.

Career mode has NEVER been brilliant in its entire existence. Ultimate Team is a mode created to suck the money out of naive teenagers and careless adults. It's as cancerous as a casino, but even worse because you can never win any actual money, and you call this brilliant?
You gave 9 to a game that had "No gameplay changes". Were you paid by EA to give the game this score and reference these modes? That's the only way I can think of that it doesn't make you look like an idiot.
@vinniebarx9 Yes they are here to be critical, but they are doing a bad job at it. If you read what I wrote it says "for shallow reasons", as in, they haven't properly reviewed the game or nit-picked what they detested about the game and then give them an absurdly low score. If I thought that they had actual journalistic integrity, I wouldn't mind, but I don't think they do, and I think they do these reviews to precisely be shocking and sensationalist. That's why it bothers me.
Honestly guys, don't bother bashing this reviewer. I mean, he's obviously incompetent, but that's not the point. Ever since gamespot changed its reviewing procedures and scores, this website has become a sham. Ludicrous review scores, which are downright silly in some cases. Does somebody here realize that games take years to produce and thousands of hours of hard work? You should be more considerate when you stamp a 4 on a game you didn't like for shallow reasons, especially since it's going to influence the sales and public opinion of said game.
Not only that but this unbelievable take on this feature of two reviewers reviewing a game within weeks of each other, all so that they can cater to everyone - did you like the game? Cool, there's a review for you. Did you hate the game? That's cool too we got a review for that too. Where the hell is the journalistic integrity? What a pile of bullshit.
A bunch of guys got together to build a game on the success of a modification of the game Arma and as quickly as they could they capitalized on success built by other people. As if that wasn't enough, they pretended to have finalized a game that was ready to be sold in atrocious programming conditions, with no regulation towards hackers, and with lies on the game description itself.
I don't know about anyone else, but I will never ever give money to any of these people. They represent everything that is wrong and corrupt not only in the world of video games, but the world itself as far as I'm concerned.
