Funny story about that. In my media class our teacher was showing how we could edit films and make it into a trailer of a completely different genre. He made Top Gun out so that they were gay and it was really well made. Other ones he did were make Pretty Woman and Mary Poppins into horrors. My friend also made Dumb and Dumber into a horror.freek666

Yeah I've seen something similar on youtube. Someone made a trailer out of Top Gun, with tons of scenes where Maverick and Iceman just stare for hours each other in the eyes, rub their biceps and make somewhat dirty gestures to each other. Also I'm absolutely positive that at 00:20 in that volleyball scene, Maverick slaps Goose right into his buttocks instead of giving him a low five.

Top Gun is the greatest softcore gay film ever made, with the infamous volleyball scene being the hottest scene ever created. Oh, and also the soundtrack is absolutely brilliant.

Salo, Finland. That's pretty much the only decent picture I could find. :(

No, but it's all good... they get along better now than when they were married. I remember how they used to fight all the time when they were married, but now they are actually quite good friends.

Isn't this being directed by Stephen Chow? It might have some hope.Yagr_Zero

No, it's directed by James Wong who gave as Final Destination and Final Destination 3, as well as that Jet Li movie The One. Stephen Chow is producing it.

Oh yes! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! It really portrays Bateman in a much more detailed way than in the movie showing his flaws as well making him much more human, which in itself is just hilarious. It's just... gah, I love this book! 8D

Have you read anything else by Ellis? I strongly reccommend Glamorama and Lunar Park, in that order.

Scarebaby

No I haven't, but I'm always taking recommendations. I'll certainly check them out once I'm done with this one. Thanks.

OH EM GEE, you're in for a treat! Breat Easton Ellis is one of my favorite authors and American Psycho is just... pure gold. Enjoy!

Scarebaby

Yeah I'm enjoying it alot. I'm about halfway through it and I really like the pitch black humor (especially the parts where Patrick Bateman throws some sidecomments how he would love to mutilate the people that he doesn't like at the moment, also how he gets really depressed when some people show more superior taste than his) and the obsessive way that everything is described in the slightest detail. I believe it was chapter 2 that consisted mostly of brand names that Bateman uses during his morning rituals and what they do, by then I knew that I'm gonna love the rest of it. I was also "pleasantly" surprised when I found that the murders are told in much more gruesome detail than they were in the movie (for example, the hobo in the alleyway who just gets stabbed in the film).

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. I've seen the movie countless of times and thought I'd check out the book too.
