If you like a type of racing like mario kart, I would recommend Sonic & all stars racing transformed. Your vehicles transform into cars, boats or planes, so you race by the 3 ways (do you remmember diddy kong racing for N64?)

I'm not a fan of racing games, but this game is SO DAMN FUN. You should give it a try. If you want to know more about the game you can check the video reviews of either gamespot or IGN, both gave a good and fair review at this one.

So I just bought this old game, and I need the so called "titan pack" or a patch to play splitscreen and add other stuff. When I started the game nothing told me to install a new version or anything. I searched on the PSN store and there's nothing that even starts with the word "unreal". I need this pack or the recent patch. Can anyone help me with this?

I would be very thankful for your help.

His link goes to a character drawing of a smiling man at a computer. Why would the makers want to change what has made the game so popular?!

A few hours ago, the press revealed some facts about Dark Souls II. Too hard the first dark souls? well, developers want to increase their clients. So it says in the site Gaming Polyvore, creators of Dark Souls II have confirmed some new mechanics, including the change of the gameplay difficulty "suitable for most players". Game changes from the first Dark Souls include:

- Full regenerating health.
- Infinite stamina (no more stamina bar)
- Decreased boss-difficulty.
- A new mechanic to show the player where to go.

Looks like it will be a third person Call of Duty with swords...

"We want to give the best experience to the majority of the gaming comunity" - says Tomohiro Shibuuya, director of Dark Souls II. More info about the news can be found on the site Gaming Polyvore:

Recently, I found a way to play this way with a friend... a coop level with friendly fire turned on and starting shooting each other LOL. Many people compalin about the lack of competitive offline in this game, but for me doing this trick works and it's fun :D

Just wondering if you guys play splitscreen deathmatches too...

May be this question is old in the forum, however, since games keep coming out each year, the question is now: your best experience on splitscreen (or offline MP) for the ps3 until now january 2013? Name everything: racers, shooters, fighting, etc.

Now we all know that very few recent games have 4-player splitscreen since someone made a study that says 4 player was unusual for ps3 owners. So it doesn't matter if they are only 2-player splitscreen or so. (A good idea in this case when there are 3 persons or more, is to pass 1 of the 2 controller to the first person to die/loss).

BTW, what would you think about warhawk these days? the online may be death but for the price in these times (less than 10 bucks I think?) may be worth it for pure splitscreen fun, it could be the closest thing we have to halo-ps3-equivalent in terms of a shooter using vehicles and stuff...

Take advantage of the free PS network (play online, download demos free, etc). Then try some exclusives. I recommend the Metal Gear saga: Buy and download Metal Gear Solid 1 from the PS store; buy the Metal Gear HD Collection from any store; buy MGS4... then prepare for Metal Gear Ground Zeroes.

I really enjoyed all 3 games, not sure if you get anything special with the collection, but you could probably buy them all used for much cheaper, at least get FOM for around 5 bucks somewhere. I'd go with the used approach, but I think they are worth a playthrough

SgtSutton
Can't buy resistance 3 used because it has an online pass. And they do come with something special: all DLC of the three games as I recall

Hello. I'm deciding if I buy this game or not. I'm looking for a new FPS experience different from call of duty but with offline splitscreen option in case a friend comes to my house. Can someone explain this option of Far Cry 3 for consoles / PS3? For example, in some games like starhawk you can't go splitscreen without going online first (I have problems with my internet sometimes, so not an option). On the other hand, killzone 3 is splitscreen for the campaign coop only, etc etc...

I'm looking forward a decent fps with decent splitscreen gameplay. Can you give me info of the game? thanks...
