@shauny: you know I actually like the fact that you can not move and shoot in RE... it make it more horror... Re4 and RE5 are action game... here is hoping that the next RE would be as the producer promise: "....back to RE roots'
@shauny: oh siren was a nice horror, I LOVED blood curse for PS3 (exc to final boss, those weird colors were silly as hell and killed the atmosphere of the game) I would like to play Siren 2.... PS3 is region lock, right? btw: have you play the fatal frame series?

Well, I would say that RE4 was still a horror. A lot of people tend to lose sight of how much of an RE game it is because of the different enemies and the new camera angle, but apart from the ability to aim the controls are still the same. Still the same tank-like controls. The next RE game seems to be Revelations for the 3DS which does look awesome. I've not seen much but from what I've heard, zombies are back. It seems to have the RE4 control system (it would probably be RE5 but the 3DS doesn't have a second analog stick), but it looks like RE: Revelations is going back to the roots. It might actually be a scary game.
I have played the first Fatal Frame (known as Project Zero over here), but I have not had the chance to own it. I enjoyed what I played and thought that it was an interesting game, especially with the camera use. I do enjoy horror games that break the norm. Probably the reason why I like Forbidden Siren so much is because, while you can fight the Shibito, it's pretty pointless to do so because they just get back up. I love that kind of fear. I've not had that in a game since RE3 with Nemesis.
