Using the computer with a cheap PSU. I learned my $1000 lesson a few years ago, to never buy a PSU on the cheap.
I've never even seen a dead PSU - not even a broken one...XtrafloYou are lucky. Nothing like having a PSU blow out and fry your entire computer.
Sure, you can wait, and chances are the 8800 will go down in price eventually. However, there will always be new tech coming out and prices will continually decrease. It comes down to how long are you willing to wait.
