@TonyKoeffler - Nice try mate. 1080p resolution came as a software update. Both consoles can do 1080p and not only this, but they can both carry that resolution on COMPONENT cables. No HDMI connection is even necessary but yea, it's probably prefered for less signal degradation. Back to the point. Both consoles support full 1080p. It's proven. The reason PS3 looks worse is because of 2 things. 1) RAM bottleneck. Look it up. Xbox uses unified more preferred method of distribution. 2) PS3's 7 dsp cell programming. Unreal3 engine runs perfectly on 360. Lags a bit on ps3, and that's even with lesser poly's, lower resolution textures.
@bluedarrk - Well I've had 4 360's, and NONE of them have ever red-ringed. I believe it comes down to plugging your system directly into the wall and proper ventilation. Some ppl think you can just cram some expensive equipment in a crowded corner! There's also YLD for ps3 man, you know that. Besides that, go research this gen's games like oblivion, mass effect, bioshock, ninja gaiden. You always get the gimped version. Screenshots look horrible on PS3. It's whatev man, at least u got games to play !
TonyKoeffler - You wanna know why I hate Sony? LOL that's a very long story but dude PS3 has been an ugly nightmare. It's only purpose was to get blu--ray going. No one want's blu-ray, dvd's are good enough and no dev's want to design a 50g game. That'd be a 5 yr game to design. It's cost initially was a joke, 360 in screenshots beats the hell out of it. Man, don't drink the koolaid. 360 is beast. Only reason Playstation was ever cool was because of Square/Konami/Tri-Ace/Namco etc.
mrsniper83 - Dude gamers aren't REALLY turning on each other. Like me and you could get down on some COD on 360 or PS3 and be cool. I just really hate Sony. But when it comes down to other gamers, it's all good, we're all friends, and would have fun together. I would just hate to game on their 1996 controller lol, j/k bro.
