Considering how old the game is, to get any good servers I suggest looking at some of the more popular mods just coming out in order to find good groups to play with. Operation Peacekeep, Forgotten Hope 2, and Project Reality are just a few.
Alright, guys. I have a question for you. Currently I am considering purchasing a new console. Being completely new to the Sony side of gaming, I wanted to ask you regulars, which three or four games would you suggest to get as starters for the system?
I think I may just nab a 360 now that I have a job. I don't want to have to upgrade my PC anytime soon, since I'll be off to college in about a year...
Man, everybody seemed to lurve C&C 3, but I... I abhored it. It made me practically tear my hair out at how ineffective actual coherent strategy or tactics were.
Crysis, hands down. The graphics and environment are so much more involving than CoD4's, like when you pick up ammo, you physically pick up the weapon or case. It doesn't just disappear. Or when bullets are riddling plants and they twitch back and forth, and trees topple under heavy machine gun fire. CoD's scripted events just don't have the same zing to them as something you create yourself.
