@cco61827 Don't feel too bad for us Xbox players. We'll just have to get Playstations. :) If this goes through, I say Durang-No.

@Guildenstern70 Starcraft 2 isn't an "always on" game. You can play in offline mode. It disables achievements, but you can play the campaign and against AI offline.

Secondly, there are friendly people on SC2. Like any community, you might have to look for them. You might try to go to the group "Starcast." They're pretty casual friendly. Ask to play some games with people.

You are not alone, I bet there are hundreds, probably thousands on SC2 just like you. You'll find a friend :)

You can friend me if you want. Pig#117

I agree with the reviewer about the writing. It is pretty silly. I get the impression that it was their intention to be over the top and hammy... Which is their right, I suppose. It's not my taste. I think it bothers people because it's yet another example of an artist misunderstanding what it is that their fans want from a sequel.

As far as whether or not the game added enough new units, I personally think the number of units they added is not the point, but rather to what degree the new units impact how the game itself is played. In my opinion, the new units change things up in a lot of exciting ways, and that's what separates HotS from WoL. As for balance, it will work itself out in time. I'm personally not concerned that Zerg feels a little behind right now, that was the case for a long time with WoL, but then Zergs started figuring out how to use their units correctly and suddenly discovered they had a totally "imba" unit composition all along.

And I don't like how the reviewer singles out the Zerg units for being too difficult for "mortals" to use effectively. Each race has units that require micromanagement, but more importantly, when has a challenge and a virtually limitless skill ceiling ever been a detriment to competitive multiplayer?

"Okay, fine. I admit it. It DOES look better on you. So now what am I supposed to wear?"
