@The_Last_Ride:

That's great. Everyone will know that's it's not THQ, but the popularity of the name and the associations that THQ carries with it will be there for.

The same happened for Crown books when it went out of business. Some small book chain in San Diego, CA, USA bought the name with the logo. It wasn't the same type of bookstore, but the name recognition is there. (I think the second iteration of Crown Books no longer exists.)

@zyfmfngs: Good post. Just don't be a bad good too much in one day or over any 10 day span.

I assume any moderator could just ban anyone for any reason if they wanted to. Who's going to care?

@mdk12345: Press the Select button. It will show the world map with the main mission location, the side missions; the evil and good missions.

@Jacanuk: LOL! HAHAHA

Thank you for your funny response.

You say I'm biased. I don't believe it. Just because I'm married to Saints Row doesn't mean I'm biased ;)

GTA5 is okay.

@mdk12345: You have to unlock them. Moya will tell you to go over here and they'll show up on your map. You don't have to do them immediately. You can go get blast shards or do side missions.

You do one district at a time. The main missions will come sequentially, one at a time. Once you do all the main missions on the first island (I believe that's the Warren district) you'll go to the second and then the third island.

You first start off at delivering the package that caused the explosion. You then meet up with Zeke, learn your powers and then go to the food container. You go shoot down the container of food and make your first good/evil choice. You then proceed, make another good/evil choice as you battle the cops to try to make it to the main land. You defeat all the cops and you're eventually caught my Moya, the special FBI/federal agent. She forces a deal down your throat, you make your way back to the first island.

Moya will speak to you to go get dead drops and lead you on to all the main missions. The main missions will show up as blue (if I remember correctly) on your map, the side missions as yellow, evil side missions as red, and I don't remember about good side missions--I think those might be green, or bluish.

YOU CAN SET WAYPOINTS ON THE WORLD MAP SO THEY SHOW UP AS WAY POINTS ON YOUR ON-SCREEN MINI-MAP.
Use the left sick to navagate and use the X button to create or uncreate waypoints.

When jumping:Cole will always be at a 45 degree angle to everything. Simply press the X button--WITHOUT USING THE LEFT STICK--and Cole will automatically jump flush onto that telephone pole or pipe or building. If you use the left stick, you'll screw it up. When jumping off of something, you can use the left stick to make arching jumps.

SASHA ROCKS!!! Sasha is the best seductress in video games and she can only be found in the original inFAMOUS.

@asivnx:

Saints Row IV has the ability to play in game music as you're doing the missions, not just while driving your car.

Saints Row 3 and IV (I don't remember Saints Row 2's music customization if it existed), has an awesome selection of song and radio stations to choose from. You can create your own mix tap adding as many different songs from any of the stations to it and listen while driving.

In Saints Row IV, you can play your favorite station or mix tape during the missions, not just while driving your car.. Maybe Saints Row 3 allowed you that ability too, but I wasn't aware of it.

The NHL series from EA has an awesome selections of songs to choose from, the ability to create your own mix tape, and the ability to add your own music from outside sources to the game. . .

You can go into the music tab and listen to the song in their entirty, or select individual ones. Every year they have a great new selection to listen to. "Wake Up" by MeTalkPretty (now Cilver) is still one of my favorite songs from NHL 10. There are usually a lot of good music and songs I never would have known about if I didn't hear them in the NHL series. Halem by New Politicsis another good one.

@ariabed:

There's no point in buying of playing GTA 5 for the next gen consoles or the PC especially if you've already played it on the last gen console--once was one time too man--too boring, too much drudgery, too much time doing mundane stuff in between the fun parts. If you're someone who enjoys playing and replaying GTA 5, then be thankful that you have so much extra time on your hands--or maybe you just don't have a life and you need to get one.

The Saints Row series is a different story. You can play and replay the game numerous times and still have a great time, especially with all the cusomizations.

@mdk12345: You're always going to have enemies. In the original inFAMOUS, you'll get more XP for killing them and you'll be able to upgrade faster.

Access the world map and do the side quests and main missions. You'll always have enemies until you do the main and side quests for that area.

Also collect the blast shards to increase your battery life.

@10854:

The make a good website with good personalities, but they can hardly make a website that functions smoothly.

I imagine the frame rate would fluxuate between 0 and 20 frames per second with lots of glitches and freezes.

@BboyStatix:

Deus Ex as far as the hacking and stealth.

inFAMOUS as far as the vigilante-ism goes and some open world-ishness, not any supernatural powers.

Splinter Cell for stealth and the based shooting and cover swapping

Yes, Saints Row IV has hacking.

A better amalgam would be GTA V with hacking and Splint Cell cover and cover swapping.
