Thanks for that slabber44, I have been looking into that one and it does look rather interesting.

I think I could get for less than 10 quid at the moment, so not too bad, I suppose :)

Any other ones, that you could suggest?

I've been looking for new games to buy, but found out that to be quite difficult at the moment, either release dates well in the future, or titles that I won't buy for various reasons, or dont't want in general.

Right, now I have another dilemma.

Have been watching some gameplay videos of SimCity and it does look interesting. I do think I might be in a risk of being nostalgic though, because I have always been a huge fan of the series and building/tycoon games in general.

I would like to know if anyone here has bought it and what thoughts you have? Excluding the problems with servers and that, do you feel it is good enough? Or would you steer clear if you hadn't already bought it?

I said earlier I wouldn't buy it, but watching those videos made my clicking finger itch, and I wanted to start building my own city :D

I suppose I could buy another, similar game, maybe Anno 2070 or something, if you think SimCity isn't good enough?

Bieberfan147, I have tried WoW, but not really looking for a monthly sub fee game, and certainly not WoW.

If you had read a bit I mentioned that I won't go near Blizzard at the moment, so that's one thing as well.

(T)ESO I'm contemplating with, even though it might have subs to begin with, but highly unlikely I will get it, not knowing this or that.

slabber44, I know exactly what you mean. Have pre-ordered quite a few games in my life and quite a few have been rather poor to put it mildly.

Like mentioned the only one I have coming is Metro, but that's because the whole concept is something I like, not knowing if its going to be a good or not, but still.

I'm a bit torn with Bioshock to be honest. I do usually like games like Deus Ex etc., but something about Infinite just doesn't go well with me, maybe I haven't found the right sources to tell me if its worth or not. Do you have any idea about the RPG-side? Or the story in larger depth?

I do have to say that if its indeed that GTA 5 is coming to pc, I definitely will get that. And Watch_Dogs looks great.

The problem is I would like buy few new games sort of now, but I can't seem to find any that I like at the moment, or those ones I was defnitely going to get, turned out to be crap or so.

Maybe Football Manager 2013? Is it worth it, if you own previous versions? I don't know...

Hi guys,

I thought I try here, because I'm having bit of trouble deciding what to get.

First of all, I'm a massive RPG fan, but like all sorts of games, providing they are good, e.g. strategy games.

I'm most likely going be buying two new ones at the moment on top of Metro: Last light, which I have already pre-ordered, well my wife has, but all the same :)

Now, my problem really is I can't decide.

I have few games which I was going to get and some that I don't really know what to do with.

Here is a short list of games, I have considered lately, and tiny explanation;

Bioshock Infinite, not really sure about this at all, game looks good, but I'm not sure at all about the RPG elements etc. Tried looking at the trailers and other videos, but it does look like an FPS with some sort of story (oversimplified perhaps, but that's how I see it at the moment), didn't get the RPG feeling from this, please if some can elaborate, that would be good.

SimCity, I was definitely going to get this one, but... The concept how they have done it now, doesn't appeal to me one bit. Not talking about technical issues like the server problems etc. here at all, but the "social aspect" crap. So if it doesn't drastically change, it's a definite no no.

Star Wars 1313 was a definite one for me, until I recently read somewhere that when Disney acquired the franchise it was put on hold, and might even be completely cancelled. Any news on this one? Real shame, because this one looked interesting.

Defiance, now this one is a mixed bag. I like the fact that it doesn't have monthly sub fees, same as with GW2, just paying one-time fee and that's it. However, the things I've read about this are really mixed, some like it and some hate it like nothing else. So would I want to spend money on it, hmm, don't really know.

(T)ESO, one of those games that sound really exciting. Been a huge fan of the earlier ones, Morrowing, Oblivion and Skyrim, so I guess that's a good thing. What I don't like is the lack of information about the finance model for example. I've read somewhere that it would start as monthly sub one, but would change to F2P model just having to pay once to buy the actual game. My question is this, well few questions, can anyone confirm what model they are going to be using, and why would I pay for monthly sub fee for few months if it is going be free of sub fees afterwards?

Lost Planet 3, again a bit of mix. I have watched quite a few game play videos and can't decide one way or another. I don't really know if I would like it or not. I have played and completed Dead Space 3 and to me this one feels too much the same. I might be wrong, but I just get that feeling.

GTA V I will get (but later this year), providing of course it is indeed coming to PC. I read somewhere that it is, but then again some places weren't sure of that. If anyone can confirm this, would be really helpful.

One game, that I won't be getting, that I was going to, is SC2 HotS. I didn't like SC2 and definitely not D3, so Blizzard is a no go.

So, that's just a rough idea what I have been looking, I'm open for suggestions, comments and information about these, especially if you can suggest a good RPG game to buy :)

Edit: I have to add Watch_Dogs to that list. I just realised what kind of game it is, and not only does it look great, but I think it has a very interesting concept too. Any thoughts and ideas about this one?
