@gokartmozart89: BF 1942 came out over 10 years ago... A new take on the concept I think would do well. Even if BF5 was WWII it'd be a good game.

W/o rankings or leveling systems people get bored quickly. Gaming has changed from the old and Halo does have unlocks(cosmetics but you still have to achieve them) and ranking. A plain FPS shooter loses it fun factor very quickly in today's market. People like to earn things for there progress and hours on hours spent. It's rewarding :)

Frame rate or no frame rate. I just hope the game is fun to play. Graphics come second but it would be nice it looked better than the Beta which looked almost last gen.

I hope its a good game but i have huge doubts. Needs vehicles, larger maps and maybe large player arenas? 32 vs 32 or even more. Cannot be focused strictly on soldier combat. Its been done way too many times. W/O a proper ranking and levelling system this game will fall severely flat.

Also graphically it looks like an early 360 game.

I remember this game. Meh it was okay esp for a free game. Not sad to see it get dusted.

@Pierce_Sparrow: Me too. Teamed up with a random group and played for hours last night. I'll prob buy it. Plus, not much else coming in March worth getting.

@IIIMatricksIII: limited for a beta? dude there is approx 3+ hours of gameplay. That's pretty good!

So far impressions of the beta after 5hours is it's OK. I'll probably end of buying since this is slow period and nothing much else in spring coming out.

Graphically i think it looks almost last gen other than lighting. Looks terrible for a modern release. I guess open world titles always have scaled back due to the games massive size sandbox?

Either way it's a fun game Dark zone is cheap and there is still a lot of kinks that need to be straightened out.
