Anyway, my thoughts are the same as the other thread though: only Shinobi looks good since it's pretty evident that Lizard Cube/Guard Crush are making it.

I also would have preferred a real SoR5 from them, especially since the SoR4 DLC survival mode was actually "revolutionary," but SEGA can't chain them to a desk. At least SoR: Revolutions is a spinoff so, even if it's bad, it won't taint the main series.

But with all that said, we still don't know who is making Revolutions or the others. With a 20XX release date for all of them, they're all a long ways away too, so it's honestly too early to start complaining. I'm more interested in what the phase 2 games are anyway, being I need my Virtua Fighter fix.

Yeah, I have the deluxe edition per-ordered. I loved part 1, so I'm very much looking forward to playing Rebirth.

I've had Game Pass multiple times on $1 discounts before, and it's the same thing as Block Buster in the sense where I'm left staring at stuff I don't have any interest in trying out.

No, I just buy what I want and play on my own time. I never rented anything in the 90's either.

First time in months I've had time to play anything, so it'll probably be a mix of some of the stuff I've bought since August and the Black Friday steam sale:

Lost Judgment, Black Mesa, Project Diva MegaMix+, Sonic Superstars, Ghost Trick, Armored Core VI, and Sonic Frontiers DLC 3. I kind of want to check out the FFXVI DLC too, but I might wait for the second one to drop first.

@uninspiredcup: I don't think it's that, but probably Guard Crush that didn't want to do it. They said something about wanting to do their own thing for their next game, and SoR4 literally had Shinobi imagery in it. They even asked SEGA at the time if they could put Joe Musashi in SoR4 as a playable character.

It's the same reason we're not getting Mania 2, because the devs wanted to do something different.
