The Warhammer novels do have some great authors writing them, so I'd say those are good bets, but they truly aren't based on any games, just based on the source the games were based on.

I've read probably half of the Blizzard game based novels. The Warcraft novels received MUCH better treatment than the Starcraft novels. Half of the Starcraft novels are either based on the games campaigns making them boring or just complete trash. Blizzard has a tendancy to rehire authors even though they're abysmal writers like Aaron Rosenburg.

I just recently started collecting the Diablo books. I refuse to read Rosenburg's Warcraft novels because he wrote one of the worst books and portrayals of the Starcraft universe/characters. None of the books are stellar, but many of them are decent while capturing the charm of the series.

The Halo novels are probably the best I've read mainly thanks to Eric Nylund. He breaths so much life into the game world and puts a ridiculous amount of detail into everything.

Well, my grades are suffering because of their awful teaching. I kind of feel cheated out of a good education, and money, but I guess I'm responsible for not getting information on them first. I didn't find outabout RateMyProfessors.com until after this semester started. (Mathprof is rated 1.3/5, btw)

And by crazy, I truly mean they have mental issues. I'll admit that I don't attend the best college in the world. I tested badly in math on the SAT, so I'm getting math classes out of the way and establishing some good grades before I try to get into University of Texas.

My math teach is incredibly strange. He's addressed as Dr, but he doesn't actually have a PhD., and still lives with his mother. I asked him a question the other day and he STARES AT ME for 20 seconds with this ear to ear grin, then slowly turns around with his hands in his pockets and walks away. It goes without saying that he can't teach. He copies notes onto the chalk board from his paper, and gets bothered if people ask questions. My english professor on the other hand, can't stay on topic if her life depended on it. She always randomly breaks off topic to talk about going to the bathroom and other strange topics. Her make-up is also ALL ****ed up.

I'm surprised there aren't more DOOM posts.

I guess most people aren't old enough, or didn't have PCs, or even SNES to play it when it was new.
