@billlabowski Your source is Wikipedia. This comment should be treated like any research paper citing Wikipedia in the secondary and collegiate level of education: discarded.

Well, there's multiple reasons. People like to cling to rare, isolated instances for their "proof," others like to use it as a pedestal to lash out/praise certain businesses and publishers, and others like to feel like they've got the master plan all figured out. Honestly, if GS or any site is being paid under the table, which I see as highly unlikely due to the points Cam brings up, I don't care because I base my gaming purchases and enjoyment off of my own free-will.

Where can I find the background music to this video? I like the sound to it and have heard it on Danny's other videos.

Well, that's cool and all, buuuuuuuut I'd much rather pay a couple hundred dollars less and play games that look pretty damn good. They may not be perfect in terms of graphics, but they never had to be to begin with; it has always been and will always be about the quality of the game over it's graphics, no matter what platform it is on.

BF3 is a step in the right direction. SWtOR is alright, but KotOR3 would be amazing. Resurrecting 1313, Rogue Squadron, and creating a new SP RPG would be all be smart ideas.

I was a student athlete and received national offers. I still don't believe in paying athletes when they receive free room and board, tuition, and meal plans. Why? Because the academics suffer in the process and it's not fair to pay a gladiator over an innovator (scholar, school scientist, whatever). Most of these athletes pick a trash degree while playing ball to make life easier, but don't understand they're possibly hurting themselves in the long haul. Meanwhile, you have classroom ratios increasing and cutbacks so the schools can use the excess funds for pointless beautification and renovation projects. But you don't hear anyone asking to the non-athlete students for their projects or big think projects. My question is: if these college players are worth so much, and the tuition keeps rising for everyone, where the hell is all that money going to?

@RunningMansKid You are correct. Those of us who walked on received no benefits. No meal plan, no room and board, and no tuition. That comes down the pipe late in the game if we are phenomenal... but in most cases, never.

It's a mix of things, as is most problems in life. And the best solution here is a collective effort from us, the readers, and you guys, the staff. No one is more to blame. Posters should never delve to the shameful antics of threats and flagrant, childish tirades. So you and your staff have my sympathies. The fact that you're seeking answers and resolution is a good sign, Danny.

@widdowson91 Dude, this has been going on for a long time now on this series. Childish behavior and out of line remarks are celebrated. Devs, publishers, and companies have all received this berating in the comment sections the moment they don't agree with their views. Gamespot just got one of their own hit and finally took a step back. While I disregard most GS reviews because I don't agree with them, the responses made by community in a majority were pretty abhorrent.

I know that feel. Reminds me of the time when I almost scored Mortal Kombat a 10/10, but whoa nelly, I'm glad I noticed it had excessive violence and the provocatively dressed women which was clearly a form of misogyny. Had to go with an 8/10. Tough call.
