@Jdzspace It's only in third place for now. The Xbox One is only 1.3 units behind the Wii U, which has been out for a full year longer, is cheaper, and more rooted exclusive franchises. The Xbox One won't catch the PS4 anytime soon in sales, that boat has sailed, but it's been tripling the Wii U for the past couple weeks I've observed. And it doesn't quite need to match the PS4. It's selling well, gaining exclusives (timed and not), and it's a whole new console from where it was last year for the better. This is why they still do these articles.

I disagree with this article, and have done so many with Petit's reviews in the past. I understand her points and will respect them since it is entirely subjective, but I believe she misses the point about the relationship between fiction and who it is entertaining. And lastly, I'm surprised you, Carolyn, would question the capacity another person's ability to love in what is deemed an unorthodox pairing.

@eternal_napalm Sad. You completely miss the point of gaming: To play and enjoy games of worlds we wish to indulge in. Instead of letting fans of the series celebrate or potential newcomers, you're hear spouting some tech drivel for the sake of a cheap laugh and to make yourself feel better about buying a PS4. What a shame.

Don't get me wrong, that conference was nice, but it wasn't as persuasive as last year's E3 for them. We just got a lot of CGI trailers, some for games who had the same treatment done last year, and quite a few big name games that will be available on PC and Xbox.

I like the music piece in the middle.

I think Phil is the guy who can really turn around the misfortunes the Xbox One has gone through. Everything he's saying is right and where they need to be headed. Hell, the guy even apologized for Xbox losing focus. The Xbox One has some serious potential at being a great gaming machine, it's good right now, but under Spencer's lead this console may live up to what it's supposed to. All under the premise he delivers. For now, we wait.

I know there are a few who like Lightning and FFXIII, but my word, do I feel for FF fans. I only played FFVII (Cloud for life), but this whole Lightning shenanigans has to end. It's sad seeing a once robust series get weighed down by a flailing chapter with such an uncared for character. Hopefully they can turn it around.
