I have the same problem. Same exact thing almost. I haven't gone and looked at the format of the sound, but I have pops when it gets really loud on Warhawk and Madden is terrible. Blu-Ray's are fine. But since 1.93.. its been annoying. It was so bad i thougth my HDMI port was out so i took by my PS3 and got another, but that didn't fix it.

What type of TV do you have? I have a INSIGNIA 32". and I bought one of the cheaper HDMI cables. So what is the problem? Sony, HDMI cable, or the TV?

EA doesn't use Xbox Live servers. They use their own servers and they are actually the only company that chose to do that.

Because the logitech controller is under $20 and has rumble. Face it. You can't use the PS3 controllers motion sensor with a PC, so you might as well get rumble out of it.

Not all PC games are for controllers though as the KB/Mouse combo is GREATLY superior, but driving around in GTA and having to pull off drivebys while running from cops can be quite the finger tangler. It's really the only thing I use a controller for besides ROMS.
