Doesn't bother me as it kept the system from being $500. Also, I have a 360.goblaa

I agree with this 100% it's all about game play for me. The Wiimote is just great fun I can still play Mega Drive games and have great fun and the Wii graphics are a millon times better than thoses days.

Red Steel is the first game I have got for Wii (excluding sport & Play) and I am having fun with it. I find the controls fine, no where near as bad as some say, there are some nice touches like the spot lights and that almost every item can be damaged. Now I have not had a consol since the original PS so am used to PC games and may be I am unaware of what's out there but I think Red steel is worth the money.

Well I am an oldie, at 30. I love my Wii, I play PC for my intense games. Wii is so I can play with my Wife and Children (when there a bit older).

But to the question is it for kids, I don't think so, it will have better content for kids over the compation Nintendo always does. But anyone who has tried the new Wii Controls is gona be sold and once developers get there head around the possibilities some really challenging older market games should come (not jut full or swearing and blood but just Challenging in-depth games).

I think Wii is really going to shock X-Box and Playstation with it's following. It's just so different a real games revolution. Every company will be incorporating wii control systems into there consoles I am sure.

I'd love to see Megalomania , Sonic CD, The Shining Force Series & Point Blank.

I got mine of the shelf on Saturday. Mind you it was the only one the shop had, I guess I was lucky.
