That article is a great read, I don't mind what consol "wins" as long as I can get some good games for the one I have. I just love watching all the jockeying for position.
Loss leading has been a marketing tool for a long time, in retail shops it happens as well. You sell something at a loss to either create interest or get people in to your store/brand then they buy all the other things you offer. Most other posts cover how that works in the game industry but it's not the only place it happens. Mobile Phones are an obvious one ( a lot of those are free if you sign a tariff )
I would like to see some original game boy games on VC as long as they where not to many points. I remember getting the adaptor to play gameboy games on my SNES it would bring back some cool memories, and classic hand help games.
I have a small SD card but just using it for pictures at the moment, I have bigger cards for my camera and Pocket PC.
I played mine last night, PGA Golf. I am addicted to it, although I get so wound up when I play a really bad shot, so it's just as well I am not a real golfer. I will be playing again tonight as well.
I need to get back to Red Steal as well I am only half way through, I think it's a fun game.
I find it funny when people say "If graphics didnt matter, we would still be playing *insert old-school console*"...
I'd choose an Atari game with good gameplay over a game with very bad gameplay and amazing graphics any day :|

The VC proves this point, people are really up for all these old games and having a great time playing them. I am still happy to play old consoles and the classic games that I love,
You should try out Tiger Woods PGA, this is what the Wii is about. I can not imagine any one playing a sports game on any other type of controller in 4 Years time. I am sure MS & Sony will be developing motion sensing controls as we speak and all systems will use this, Wii is leading the way. Why wait for the tomorrow's controls when you can have them now.
Tiger Woods PGA, as long as you like the idea of a golf game, it's what the Wii is about.
It's true you might want another system if you're a hardcore gamer ( I use a PC ) but the Wiimote is excellent I know some people are not happy with how it's been used so far but Wii sports and Tiger Woods PGA show how great it is.
