@sargentpsgamer To be fair, when was the last time you saw a game more than $5 cheaper at Gamestop than the new game, for that matter when was the last time you got more than $5 for a game older than 6 months old at Gamestop. Glyde works a bit better but not much. I don't mind companies keeping something out if you buy it used (online play for example), provides added incentive to buy it new, and gives them something they can sell if you buy it used. But that might just be me.
@DrYnot @tduhon07 Who ever said it was worth a third of what it was 15 years ago. Games 15 years ago tended to cost $50, they cost $60 now (like they have ever since the beginning of this console cycle, and it looks like they will next console cycle as well)... where are you getting that third from?
P.S. Supposedly Sega also has HD versions of 1 and 2 ready to be released... but they keep putting it off for some reason (which is really dumb as the definition of "HD" will change when the PS4 and new X-Box come out).
@DrizztDark Was looking around, supposedly a month ago Yu Suzuki was talking about using kickstarter to fund Shenmue 3. I firmly believe the only thing standing in his way is the fact that Sega owns the license.
Yu Suzuki just needs to get Sega to give him the license and do a kickstarter of his own. If this game can get 4M I can't imagine how much a Shenmue 3 would get knowing how people have been telling Yu Suzuki "Take my money" for years without a kickstarter.

@Zarkhaine @QingJao86 Makes sense, but note, G&K does really change the way you have to play the game, especially with the religion. Also some of the civilizations are much different.
@Senor_Kami @Ten_Tigers How about Brood War and even Core Contingency (a Total Annihilation expansion for the unaware) if you want to get really old school? Expansion packs have been a part of strategy games all the way from at least Total Annihilation and Command and Conquer 1, why would we expect that to change? At least now they make the way of playing totally different.
