Never really hated the actual ending. I'm more annoyed in the final mission in general. I was expecting for war assets to join the battle and see some large-scale conflicts.

This is quite a fun game, but I really think Microsoft should push for stages inspired by Halo, Fable, Gears of War and other Xbox brands.
Reboot? Does not make me excited. LoK is one of the best series, but a reboot isn't anything I want. Changed art direction? Changed core gameplay? No story continuation? Why should I be interested?
It might be a good game, but IMO they should just do a brand new vampire fantasy game series if they're going to mess with the basics. While LoK is a big brand, it also comes with a big burden.
Awesome list. Couldn't help picking about 50% of them all.
But I'd say Raziel would be a better choice than Kain from Legacy of Kain. Soul Reaver 1 and 2 and Blood Omen 1 only appeared on PS1 and PC
Micro Machines is one of my favs, but as it's hard to implement a vehicle I'd hope for a character from Micro Maniacs instead. Maybe V4, Waldo or Maw Maw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV98rQWrQ_Y
I want to like it but can't help feeling that it looks like inferior PS version of SSB. I sure prefer Crash over Mario and Snake over Samus, but...
One issue with Sweet Tooth is that he always drove a car in PS1-era so you didn't see any of the characters. Could have been anyone.
But I agree that this game really misses PS1-era. It's when I got on Playstation and also where I loved it the most, PS2/PS3 just aren't at great to me.
Crash, Spyro, Rayman, Tomba, Croc, Rosqo Mcqueen, Medievil, Ape Escape, Resident Evil, Soul Reaver, MGS, Tomb Raider
Even if they managed to get some of the characters I still worry that they're nothing like in the past. If they get Jill Valentine she could be the RE5 catsuit version, if they got Crash he would be the Activision version and so on. If they did that I wouldn't even care whether these characters get in or not. It's like having Doctor Mario and claiming he's THE Mario in SSB.

Additionally atleast Wipeout, Gran Turismo, Syphon Filter, Heavy Rain, Armored Core, Micro Machines, Motorstorm, Hot Shots series, Fear Effect, Team Buddies, Vib Ribbon, Rollcage, Buzz and Singstar should get something like a stage or item.
IMO Roster isn't everything. Smash Bros wouldn't be nearly as cool without the stages, assists and other references. So I would start by looking at which Playstation icons deserve a presentation.
But yes from what we know I'd say PS3-era is handled almost perfectly: God Of War, Killzone, Resistance, Uncharted all have presentation. LBP will be there for sure and some sort of Heavy Rain reference would be cool.
PS2:Jak&Daxter and Ratchet&Clank are pretty obvious. Other than that Devil May Cry, Ico, Shadow of Colossus, Kingdom Heart and GTA are huge brands that should be there. I'd say this is handled ok, but could use more.
PS1-era is terribly neglected from the looks of it: Ape Escape, Medievil, Metal Gear Solid, Wipeout and Tekken are good, but PS1 had lots more. Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Soul Reaver, Syphon Filter, Micro Machines, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon, Rayman and Tomb Raider are some of the big hits on PS1 and deserve characters, stages, items or atleast something.
So yea id say about 30 would be a good amount as long as they're big and otherwise the game is good.
