I think Brady outshined both Brees and Manning. All those doubters can stuff it Moss isn't done yet 180+ yards and a TD! He was insane today I hope we see this all season long though. Pats defense looks OK they could be better but they did a excellent job against the Jets running game.

Colts looked really good later in the game Manning could break his record this year with games like that. Also I love seeing Bob Sanders play hes just everywhere on the field to make the tackle.

EDIT: I can see why the Colts let Jason David go... looks like he'll be this years Fred Thomas.

[QUOTE="PatsFanVince"]Like Ngamer said they will be fine the have good secondary depth (I'm probably the only one that thinks that) with Meriweather and Sanders to fill in for him while hes gone plus they've gotten by without him before especially in the playoffs. It really disappoints me to see this happen but what are you going to do can't just hate on the guy for doing this although it will more then likely taint his career.TopsyKrett

Oh don't get me wrong, we have a very young strong secondary depthchart. Bill has done a great job with Sanders and Meriweather. Just I guess now with Seymour on the PUP list for 6 weeks I just want the defense to be healthy for these up coming games. Specialy week 2. OH I can't wait.

I wouldn't even worry about those 4 games especially week 2 because we beat the Chargers with Artrell Hawkins and James Sanders in secondary those receivers don't scare me a bit. As for Seymour its probably best for him so he can be healthy for the playoffs plus they got Jarvis Green who would be a starter on a lot of other teams.

Why try and trade for him when you know they are gonna release him?nygiants1080

Hes exactly right why trade for him when hes going to be released anyway. Its like the Culpepper situation no team was going to trade for him it would've not only cost them more but they would've have to give a draft pick up. I think they should've at least kept him to back up Garrard because they got a unproven QB in Quinn Gray backing him up so if Garrard goes down there in trouble.

Man what a blow to the secondary especially for our first 4 games. As much as I love Rodney it makes me wander if BB will eventually cut him because the guy just can't stay on the field whether its injuries or this. I'm not to worried to much right now since we got some good saftey depth with Meriweather and Sanders.

Obviously he was going to sign eventually he wasn't going to leave all that money on the table and plus sitting out 10 weeks wouldn't have helped his cause in earning big money. I still think that they will come to a long term agreement before the end of the season Samuel really wants to finish his career here and if he has one more great season I think they get it done.

They both got rings, so who cares who's better?

Yea as I said the discussion is getting old now... there both future Hall of Famers, Superbowl MVPs, and in my opinion there 1a and 1b in this league.

And I just realized you sit there and talk about it being a team effort but then turn around and say Tom Brady has a top defense to win for him? What do you think the Colts did the playoffs this year? Manning was horrible and the defense stepped up and won most of those playoff games for him.
