I don't know about asexual, but he's definitely inserting his own bias into the issue.

No it's not. The author's personal life may be relevant to deconstructing the motivations behind the article, but it doesn't need to be applied to give a commentary on a game. Feeling obligated to do so doesn't mean you have an intellectual obligation.

"You people"? Who is "you people"?

Criticizing the author's behavior and tendency towards social engineering is hardly personal. It affects other people.

That's not an attack. It's a criticism. Be more mindful of what you call an "attack".

Who said anything about not having rights?

The author didn't do his research and was more concerned with getting on a soapbox. Simple.

Where have I launched any personal attacks?

Or is this just your way of diverting attention from the author's questionable commentary?

I'm starting to think that you're right. Despite all the disagreement, the author isn't even interested in arguing, or even clarifying, the position that was taken. Aside from a clear bias, it seems that he believes controversy is more valued than reason.

Other species have a tendency to try and mate outside of their own species. Does that mean bestiality should be tolerated?

This is Laura Parker's "Mass Effect on Homosexuality" thread all over again.

"I see nothing libelous in what was written, at all."

*cough*

"Persona 4 sends the message that homosexuality is shameful and should not be accepted."

Now I have no problem with such a opinions myself, but he's clearly preaching to a bunch of people whom he expects to be outraged at the idea that someone would find homosexuality to be a sociologically manifested character flaw as opposed to something healthy and normal. He's trying to make a public indictment of the developers through western sub-cultural trends (while remaining perfectly ignorant of Japan's culture in the process).

And no, it's very possible to give a perspective on something without bias. Taking a specific position on the subject isn't tantamount to bias. The problem here is an emotionally charged interpretation of the facts that favor his feelings moreso than objective reality. People have already pointed out time and again that his conclusion is missing many different pieces.

This is not a sociopolitical site. This is a site for video games.

Do these video games at times bring up such topics? Yes. But that doesn't mean the site should start fixating on them.
