already have a decent gaming rig/PC.

Picked up a PS4 and XB1, pre-ordered both in June.

Super Mario 3D World was tempting, but still not enough to get me to seriously consider buying a Wii U. Sorry, Reggie.

I find it incredibly boring. The story is lackluster with no one character being particularly appealing. The thing is far too linear. You have no choice in what characters to use and when to use them. The battle system almost seems to play itself at times. I just found it a real grind to get through. As someone said earlier in the thread, it felt like a job more than a game and it was more work than fun.

Wow, I might actually come to OT then. I sort of got sick of the ridiculous moderations and stuck to my union.

Why? Cars was probably the weakest film Pixar has ever made and the most critically panned....and they choose that to make a sequel out of. There are so many other great franchises that could make for great sequels. Like the Incredibles. Who wouldn't want an Incredibles 2? But instead we get Cars 2?

Halo Reach. I don't know if it is good or bad but certainly that game was quite hyped. I also think the new CoD is being hyped alot. Miroku32
Agreed with both choices. Also surprised at how much hype Medal of Honor has been getting....most likely because it just looks like Modern Warfare.

Far Cry 2 (I still don't understand wtf reviewers saw in that game....it's just not a particularly good game, certainly not an 8.5) Fallout 3 and Oblivion, though I'll admit that aside from Fallout 3's miserable map system, that's largely a matter of taste on my part.

so.. i'm just going to assume this is a joke thread

I didn't even read your post, all I had to read was "fable 2- 100 hours"

All I had to read was that "Halo: Reach" accounted for one of the five reasons on its own.

I didn't for years, but recently I've been offloading a lot of stuff just because I was running out of space and was also feeling burdened by games that I knew I would NEVER get around to finishing. So yeah, both physically and mentally liberating. No more things dogging me for not having finished it, and lots of space for new games.

Really happy, and somewhat surprised really, that Mafia II did so well.

PSP sales are so bad. Sometimes I wonder if Sony would be better off if they just gave up on portable gaming as a lost cause and focused all that money onto their home console.

I sort of agree with you, TC. It's why these days, I really only play RTS games on my PC. I can't be bothered to buy regular upgrades to service the more demanding genres.

[QUOTE="nameless12345"]

It's too expensive. Sure, it can be quite inexpensive if you're not demanding, but if you want to play all games "the way it's ment to be played" on a regular basis, it can be really expensive. Also, I miss certain big multiplatform console exclusives. I understand Nintendo and Sony don't want to port their games over to the PC, but I'm not so understandable about Microsoft. If they really cared about PC gaming, they wouldn't make games like Alan Wake 360 exclusive. But that's another story, of course.

1. You get what you pay for.

2. Get a job.

I have a job, but most of that money goes towards things like food, housing, tuition, books, and buying actual games when able.
