I think the point is they would love to have this conversation regarding the review if it wasn't the case where every comment they make is responded with 50 hostile ones. Such as those accusing them of being fanboys and political and acting innocent and hiding behind trolls.
Great discussion on the matter. Problem is some of the people making these outrageous and immature comments are fully grown adults, not just a complete body of naive teenagers like you assumed.
On the other hand people still buy call of duty games and listen to justin bieber. Everyone does something questionable, what's the point of looking down on civilization from some imaginary moral high ground?
Sometimes the choice is an illusion. There are some companies that offers unpaid internships, but if you don't take the job you're not likely to find the experience you need for a while.
As long as society revolves around capitalism and consumerism I think most people will resent a digital-only future. People want to own things as a kind of trophy. Mobile games are digital-only because they're cheap and people don't care about those games as much as the phone or tablet itself. PC/console games are 60 bucks, which is a different case.
