I would say JRPGs, with the exception to the rule being the Elder Scrolls series which I love to bits.

'Teh uber grafix!' - If games are fun, they're fun. They don't need volumetric particles, bump mapping and complex shaders before they start to become enjoyable.

PC gaming - My rig sucks. 'nuff said.

Disk-swapping - Oh noes! Teh DVD only holds 9 gigs of data! I'll have to get up and swap disks to carry on with Lost Odyssey! Woe is me!

My personal top 5 games are:

1. LocoRoco

2. Lumines

3. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

4. Tekken: Dark Resurrection

5. Crush

(Although after playing a bit of Patapon, that will likely make the list)

I have to wonder why devs haven't made a PSP FPS with similar controls to the first 2 Metroid Prime games since only 1 analog stick is used for movement but the controls still work really well.

Well, my top 5 favourite so far are:

1. LocoRoco (Easily one of my top 20 favourite games of all time)

2. Lumines

3. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

4. Tekken: Dark Resurrection

5. Crush (One of the most underrated games so far this generation IMO)

I would still say that LocoRoco is the best game on PSP IMO.

No. The PSP is finally hitting its stride thanks to its sudden immense popularity in Japan and there are numerous games that are either out or are to be released that I want to buy. Sony just needs to put more effort into getting developers to take an interest in the system. (That, and to hurry up and release LocoRoco 2!!!)

I'd say that the PSP has a good 2 years left.

[QUOTE="PSP_John"]

Didn't Crysis sell just over 3 million? That's pretty impressive if you ask me.

But anyway, sales simply aren't a good indication of quality. Think Carnival Games and Metroid Prime 3.

I didn't expect a "_John" to be a voice of reason in this thread.

Why yes. :P It started as just a one-off alt account for a joke thread about PS_John but now i've just kind of stuck with it!
