Ah yes... :P This started out as just a one-off alt account in a joke thread about PS_John but ever since I started using this account i've gotten much more attention! So I'm keeping it. :)

As for 3DO_John... I think i'll stick with PSP_John since i've fooled a few people into actually thinking I was THE PS_John a few times. :lol:

Glad to see a decent response so far. We may have to "Wambulance" for all the mods claiming the internet is not F41R!

The currency is the tag and metascore is the metric - don't try to change the bet. All those "for" and "against" get their tags changed. To all the mods - pick your meta score. Here is some troll reference from your camp to save you time:

Haze (PS3) Avg Ratio: 57%
Lair (PS3) Avg Ratio: 56%

Don't go to high or you may show your true colors. :) No more crying, no more trolling, just pick. I would suggest the tag stay for 6 months but I am pretty easy on that.

Well, a few of the things he said were completely untrue such as having to press triangle to aim, (You only need L1, triangle just switches to first-person) having to stand up to shoot, (You can shoot from all FIVE different stances) that lots of available weapons and gadgets are a bad thing, (Come on, if that's not clutching at straws I don't know what is) and that the focus is much more on action than stealth. (The focus is whatever you choose it to be, the game works as both a stealth AND an action game)

He can criticise the story and cutscenes all he wants (The Metal Gear story telling style isn't for everyone) but the majority of things he said about the actual gameplay were far from spot on.

I saw something on topgear once (uk tv show if you have not watched it) and they tested a corvette once, all the plastics were cheap and did not fit. It had leaf springs (just metal springs) and if you pushed the back of the car the body work bent inwards.

I remember also they did a review of the fastest selling car in the world, a pickup truck and they did not like that either. It was funny though.

Well... i'll go with games that are either confirmed to be at E3 or that I think are likely to be there. Or failing that, games that I really want to be at E3! (Hey, I can dream right?)

1. LittleBigPlanet - Now that MGS4 has been and gone, (and become my favourite game of all time :D) my most anticipated game is now LBP. I've been wowed by every new video and snippet of info since its first showing and any new stuff is more than welcome in my book!

2. White Knight Chronicles - I really want a confirmed European release date for this one, even if it isn't until next year I still want to know when dammit! :x

3. LocoRoco 2 - It hasn't been officially confirmed, but i'm betting that some new info will surface this E3 given its 'accidental' announcement by Phil Harrison last year.

4. Resident Evil 5 - The sequel to what used to be my favourite game of all time... (Until MGS4) why wouldn't I want to see more of it?

5. Spore - After many years of neglecting my PC in favour of console gaming... this game has definitely caught my eye. I'm just hoping that the system requirements aren't too hefty for my outdated rig. :?

Here's hoping for Vagrant Story... :)

And the possibility of playing Xenogears on my PSP... that would be awesome.
