Yes get the Gameboy Advance SP model it will play all the original Gameboy & Gameboy Color games, it has a backlit screen and rechargable battery

Best game on the system was Ivan Iron Man Stewarts Super off Road Racer, hours of fun. Also get a master gear convertor so you can pklay Master System games on it

Top down 3/4 view, good game but the camera angle lets it down as you don't see all the enemies so they can shoot you from off screen

Got my black DS Lite in 2007 with NSMB and Brain Training, since then I've collected many great titles such as all the PAL Professor Layton games.

Had a blast in work for 2 weeks completing Contra 4 and nearly got fired for it.

Playing through all the Castlevania games on DS at the moment, they're brilliant!

Have to say that one of the most fun games is Mario Kart DS it's just awesome the gameplay is sooo much fun I just hope MK 3DS can live up to it.

I'm more concerned about the price than the color. But I think I'd prefer onyx black again since that's what my ds lite is.

No mariokart 3DS will not work on a regular DS lite or any DS other than 3DS
