I want to buy cheap old game boy, and i want the one that can play the older versions too... Kinda like all games in one system. Is it the game boy advance sp. ? can it play the original gameboy & the color games? Is there something newer than the gba sp. that can play all the older games? Thank you

GBA SP is the way to go; love it to pieces. And most are legit, just be very inspecting of the quality/scratches/use marks around buttons/hinges/etc.

GBA SP has two different lits. Older version of GBA SP is frontfit. Newer version of GBA SP is backlit. I love backlit than frontlit.

GBA SP would be a wise choice.

NINTENDO GAMECUBE.

I play all gameboy games from the original grey carts all the way up to the GBA Advanced releases on my GameCube via the NGC-GBA Player attachment.

buy from a reputable seller and you'll avoid fakes. and in my experience the GBA sp is very durable, but i could see the folding part getting loose, so that could be an issue. dont buy if they dont have enough pictures of the gba sp open and closed.

I had an SP die on me though. The battery inside melted. Can't say if it's an isolated incident or not; but my other used one is still going strong.
