2) Ban on porographic dvd/blu ray 3) Ban on pornographic books
Because if you are going to ban access to pornographic material online you are not just banning the viewing of images, but also films too which makes no sense if people can freely still access them from high street book/magazine shops and dvd stores unless you also ban the selling of books selling pornographic books/films too. And then there is the problem of online stores, under this law would online retailers like Amazon have to remove items classed as illigal under the new law from the Amazon UK website and if so what is to stop people just using Amazon Germany (as an example) to import banned items.
And what will they class as pornography? intercourse? full frontal nudity? any form of intimacy? because surely if you are going to have a wholesale ban on pornographic images online, and then the government will be forced to include films in this to make it not look half-arsed, then for the law to be implemented wouldn't it need to be a blanket ban which would mean 9 1/2 weeks ends up at 2 days and half a weekday afternoon. To ban it is completely is being prudish and rather like using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut when the problem is the illigal images that I am sure everyone agrees, need to be removed from the net permanently and the pedo's using those sites nailed up... i meant sent to prison for a long time.
I am really looking forward to this, recently bought the first one and having fun playing it by myself or online when I can find a good crew who don't mind me not being too good, and sounds as if Overkill are adding plenty of new stuff to enhance the game and make it more addictive to play that the first one was.
I don't, been unemployed just over 2 years and getting increasingly p***** off at my lack of success considering I am applying for at a guess over 25 jobs a week. but hopefully that will change soon, I have a job interview the day before my birthday in a couple of weeks so hoping to have something else to celebrate.
Nice to see so that far that the majority of people who voted work, shows gamers aren't as lazy as some in the (non-gaming) media would have people believe
YOU ALL SEEM TO BE FORGETTING ONE BIG MAJOR POINT:
It's only RACISM when it happens to a non-white, if a white man is attacked by someone of a different race/colour it is hardly ever described as being a racist crime, because if it was you can be damn sure there'd be at least one report a day about it. I read somewhere that the racist insult "Cracka" was used, but guessing it is widely ignored too, guess it's only racist if you use the n-word.
Doesn't this apply to the entire internet in general?dominer
Yes but there is a fundamental difference in so much that most of the internet is unmoderated, you have some very questionable points of views and opinions out there which are posted without censor, where has here there are moderators, who can/will moderate people when and where necesarry.
And this is exactly the type of "it's someone ele's problem" attitude that makes people like TC and others including myself ask the question of why nothing seems to be done about the bullying that happens on these forums.
