Because you're discussing the transfer of paid software for free. It doesn't matter that you both initially paid for it, because it's basically the same as burning a game onto a CD and then distributing it like that.

Some places have mini games, and that's the main idea Sony wants to expand upon. I know EA and Capcom have plans, but in general, I think Home really is a kind of weak SIMs online atm. Maybe if Sony allowed you to win currency or something to make purchases in home/psn it would pick up steam, but right now, it's a chat interface that requires a lot of work just to meet someone.
The PS3 can play and store music and videos on UsB harddrives, however games that you download/install must go onto the internal drive. Some game install data and saves can be transferred to usb drives.
Mine is pathetic compared to yours, but it is actually the Yatta trophy from Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. I remember playing tat game as a kid and spending hours to try to beat it, but never being able to. Getting that trophy was extra sweet, because it was something like 15 years in the making.
I don't give up as long as beating the game is within reason, and is fun enough to play. Some games, like Gran Turismo 3, aren't really realistic to beat like other games because the time requirement is huge, and for me, the fun wore off before i could finish it off.
I'm willing to admit I think they were a bit out of place, but by no means do I feel it ruined the game. In terms of story line, it was an interesting twist, and it was handled well enough, and was a good answer at the center of the mystery.
When it comes to the gameplay, it did kind of throw things off, but isn't that whay people want these days? Variety? It's not like standard game mechanics didn't work. You still could just aim and shoot like with any other enemy.
I think Halo is a good counter example, becaus ehte flood are akin to these wierd creatures. You went from strategy minded aliens with guns to mindless hordes of melee combat creatures. It was the same thing. You couldn't use the strategy of cover and shoot anymore, and had to rely on more frantic tactics.
It was, until I got a 360. The Wii was actually my first of this gen, but after the novelty wore off, I ended up selling it. It just wasn't for me. When I got the PS3, it was pretty sweet. Now that I have a 360, I have discovered that I am a one-console kind of guy. Even though I enjoy the 360's exclusives, I just don't find that I play it nearly as much as my PS3. Honestly, the 360 has been unplugged for a few months now. I plan to get Star Ocean 4, but that's not even a given.
X-Play also couldn't stop talking about how your foot goes onto the curb when you stand near the edge of a street in Grand Theft Auto 4. Of all the things to talk about, that was what they wasted an entire minute of 360 degree spinning camera footage on.
X-Play goes with the crowd. Bashing the PS3's lack of games is the joke for PS3. the 360 joke is the RROD. The Wii joke is its name, and then mocking anyone fat that may use it and claim they're being active. The same horse being beaten time and and time again.
