@mrbojangles25: Madam Gao was the Best thing about the Hand.. the second they started introducing other members, things fell apart. The Iron Fist was the nail in the coffin. Defenders was just exhuming the body and re-burying it.
Personally I thought Luke Cages (first 6 episodes) was a lot better than people give it credit for.. but I agree about the Hand. They never really explain how menacing or global the hand really are/were. Stick talks about them like the League of Shadows.. but all they show is a group of old timers getting their asses kicked by everyone to include the Girl Scouts of America.. lol It was entertaining but ...for one thank heavens the hand is outta here. Lamest group of "super villains" ever! ...and for two My God could someone stuff Danny Rand and his side kick in a F*ing trunk and ship them off to an island somewhere. Jeez they have to be the most annoying duo I've EVER seen.
"What about Sam Jackson or Iba?" This has nothing to do with black actors. People complained that GITS was "whitewashed", Ironman 3 was "whitewashed", Dr Strange was "whitewashed", etc.. because of white actors playing "Asian roles"... and somehow black people are brought up in the conversation.. That's very telling.
Of course he's not going to say the reboot failed because it shifted things away from the formula that worked for the original, the jokes were terrible, and original cast were show horned in.. I'm sure he'd be seen as sexist.
After a few hours in... the shooting is down right TERRIBLE! I've never missed as many dunks as with this game. The "perfect shot" is laughably random. I like the concept of "leveling up" your players. But the package is REALLY bare bones.. I guess i can't complain too much for a $20 title. Its still surprisingly fun.
I guess they need to sway the "girl power" crowd to come and watch the "guy flick".. I may not "fight like a girl" (lol), but I'll definitely fight to stay the hell away from this atrocity.
