Not signing a petition for developers that don't have a clue as to how to develop a game. These guys were literally going into the 13th year for a generic FPS. The leaked content was adequate, but a publisher will have to be nonsensical to fund this team to waste more money for a product that will be dated technically and visually in the future.

OoSuperMarioO

With a quote like that you've clearly never seen the Excel sheet. it's been taken them ages because fair enough they are idiots (apparently one time spent 18 months on just one section of a level), but also because they are working on the exact opposite of what you are saying: Making it NOT generic and as unique as possible. If you look at the leaked sheets it shows that they thought of a unique gameplay mechanic not for just once in a while, but for every level.

Again, guys, sign this even if you hate it. The reason I posted this is because of this.

They are over half way done. They might as well finish off the job.

Edit:

Also, Warmaster said that nobody gives a crap about online petitions, they never do anything other than make the signers feel like they've done something.

Now that is an outright lie.

When BioShock was under development, they asked the community if they wanted to see a limited collectors edition. About 2,500 people signed the petition, and purely because of that they made a Collector's Edition. Did I mention that the game was published by 2K Games, who are owned by Take-Two Interactive?

Hey guys, as you probably know Duke Nukem Forever is pretty much cancelled because 3D Realms don't exist anymore.

I wasn't bothered about the game itself, but the fact that 13 years of making a game down the drain really pisses me off. IGN's sister site were leaked some info about the game, and the article had two things that pissed me off even more.

1) They were 60.8% done with the game. That means they only needed at the most another 3 years and they would be completed.
2) The game looks GOOD. By GOOD I mean FUN. Just go to the linked page and you can find some gameplay for a demo reel for an animator who was made redundant at 3D Realms: http://ve3d.ign.com/videos/47091/PC/...play-Demo-Reel

Now, this is the thing that makes me happy. They can keep developing it. If Take-Two are convinced to continue development they could switch it over to another developer (like Human Head Studios, the makers of Prey) and keep making the game.

Now even if you don't care for the game, please, sign the petition. Tell your friends to. And as I said, even if you don't like it, please sign it. It only takes a couple of seconds. If we get 1,000, we could easily convince Take-Two to continue development. And in 2 days we already have 225 signatures! :)

Damn. Well, I'll still like to do a duo with someone. I'd really prefer using the drums if possible, so drop your friend code here if you're interested.

Hey guys, I just got the full kit of GH:WT, and I only have 1 Wiimote. But I am still able to have some great fun with it. Some of the songs are the most fun to play period, like Are You Gonna Go My Way and Eye of The Tiger, but it's kinda boring on your own. So I was just wondering, would anyone like to form a band with me? Any difficulty or instrument is accepted, as I'm not the greatest player in the world...

Yet.

My suspicions of my Xbox dying have reamerged. For the last 3 weeks or so in all of my games when I turn too quickly for a split second some areas of the screen just go white. It's happened in Fable 2, BioShock, GoW 2 (once in a area that was loading), and Dead Space. Also, even after installing it to my hard drive, at times the pop in for GTA IV becomes pretty bad. One example is that in the Booth tunnel one section of the tunnel had no lighting and only driving under it made it suddenly pop in, and upon entering the tunnel a awful lot of detail appeared all at once. Also the same thing happened with road lamps. Is my console dying?

In case you guys didn't notice by my recent edit, I really think it was the disc now. I played BioShock for 20 minutes and spent half that time looking for blue pixels. Guess what I found? Nothing. No visual problems whatsoever. The very worst that happened (and I'm guessing this was a game glitch) is when I equipped my camera for a split second everything in the game (as in I can still see the health and EVE bars as well as the ammount of film I had without any changed) had a green smoke effect, but that was probably because I was under a vent (I was on the level Neptune's Bounty).

By the way Othello I am very sure that it is only GoW, as I played a few games, stopped moving, then looked around on the screen for blue areas a couple of times.

And I am beginning to hope more and more it is the disc that was the problem, as as I mentioned GoW is the only game that does this.

Edit: After playing BioShock for 15 mintues I am more convinced it was a problem with GoW. I spent around half of the time looking for blue pixels, and I found nothing.

Oh ok, it's just last time I sent off my Xbox to them (I'm in the UK) I got a brand spanking new one (which is now a brand spanking breaking down one).

I am not bothered about it, as long as it lasts another 2 days (getting Far Cry 2 this friday ). But then again a 3 week wait... :(
