Not signing a petition for developers that don't have a clue as to how to develop a game. These guys were literally going into the 13th year for a generic FPS. The leaked content was adequate, but a publisher will have to be nonsensical to fund this team to waste more money for a product that will be dated technically and visually in the future.

With a quote like that you've clearly never seen the Excel sheet. it's been taken them ages because fair enough they are idiots (apparently one time spent 18 months on just one section of a level), but also because they are working on the exact opposite of what you are saying: Making it NOT generic and as unique as possible. If you look at the leaked sheets it shows that they thought of a unique gameplay mechanic not for just once in a while, but for every level.
Again, guys, sign this even if you hate it. The reason I posted this is because of this.
They are over half way done. They might as well finish off the job.
Edit:
Also, Warmaster said that nobody gives a crap about online petitions, they never do anything other than make the signers feel like they've done something.
Now that is an outright lie.
When BioShock was under development, they asked the community if they wanted to see a limited collectors edition. About 2,500 people signed the petition, and purely because of that they made a Collector's Edition. Did I mention that the game was published by 2K Games, who are owned by Take-Two Interactive?
