The difference between Consoles and a PC is you don't need to upgrade it for a year or so, and a year or so down the track, the money you spent upgrading your pc to keep it up to date, you could have used to buy the latest console. Thats not to mention the problems you get with PCs crashing/virus/spyware having to update each driver all the time.
The other thing that works people up is threatening the existence of gaming its like telling a guy your going to kick them in the balls, Hurts thinking about it hurts even more when it happens
To be perfectly honest a lot of violent games have classifications so if school kids are playing these games its the parents to blame for buying it and letting them play, so for situations like kids going and shooting other kids its the parents blame mainly (and how on earth do they even get access to guns?/ NZ gun laws are so much better). I also think that games with any violence whatsoever should have an R rating on them.
like I said below, WTF do you you want to get it for used games and shit anyway, and all you need to do is log into xbox once a day to keep playing your games(people log into Facebook more than that)as for the speeds, do you know if the games would actually utilise all that speed or does the number just look cool to you, thats why xbox has dedicated speeds to the games and operations of the xbox seperately
Why is everyone after PS4? I saw both conferences and nothing really stood out for the PS4 but a few games. However the Xbox One and its media capabilities look more like the technology we should be getting accross all consoles these days. If I wanted to just play games i'd stick to my ps3/xbox 360. I like the idea of instant channel changing, and being able to go from movies to games to tv to the net instantly. And to top it off if im playing a game someone can call me on skype and its right there on my screen. One console to do all that well thats my $$ well spent

Just a quick question I don't know if I saw it in the demo but are the playable characters in destiny able to jump.All I saw in the demos, the characters were all grounded. Im the sort of FPS that likes to jump arround alot lol and not being able to jump in a FPS specially in an open world one would kinda suck.
