Are you talking about during game play or just in the Wii menu? I find that my remote works perfectly during game play, but it is far less accurate in the Wii menu. It moves from side to side and up and down fine enough and gets the job done, but if you try to do fine, delicate type movements, it is not very good. However, it does not need to be in the menu. If you are not experiencing problems in game play, this might be normal.

If you have problems with game play, is it will all games or just some? Have you tried replacing the batteries in the remote? You may need to get a new sensor bar if yours is not working well. If you have more than one remote, do you see the same issue with both remotes? If you have a friend with a Wii, try using your remote on their system and vice versa. Lots of things for you to try. Hope this helps.

Well, it is so nice to see that there are older Wii gamers in this forum. I mean, everyone knows the Wii attracts all ages, but I thought it was quite rare to have people over 21 in forums like this one.

BTW, I am 43, and the Wii is my only console (no time for more!). I started gaming with a PET and C64. Always gamed with PCs and never touched a console until my stepson got me hooked on a GameCube. Gaming has come a long way since Jumpman and Zork.

Yes.

It is the only game I am sure of getting right now. Everything else is a maybe or a no.

MoHH2 has its faults, but it is a very good on-line game. It is very fast (60 fps), has excellent controls, supports 32 players, and still has people playing on-line all the time. The campaign is nothing special, but still fun to complete. I would suggest buying it if you can get it at a good price. There is no other Wii fps where you can have a TDM with 16 vs 16 players. The only thing you must learn to do if you play on-line is lag shooting. Always aim in front of a moving target. If you aim right at a moving target, you will never hit it.

Hard to pick one, as it will change over time, but the ones I have been playing the most over the last year are:

MKWii

MoHH2

World of Goo

RE4

Well, the first matches are over and they were fun, but a little confusing. A few setup issues will be fixed for next weekend's match. Auto balance will be turned off, so a proper TDM can be held. This was a good start to work out the bugs and the turn out was very good. Same details again for next Sunday, 10pm ET. We should have somewhere close to 20 players total from both teams, perhaps even a few more than that.

Thanks to all the Gamespot players that showed up and really kicked ass. You guys are good.

This is a challenge for GAMESPOT members that own MoHH2 for the Wii. There will be a TDM tonight at 9:45pm ET against a team from VGCHARTZ.

VGCHARTZ is set to crush any and all GAMESPOT members that dare to show up.

If you wish to be humiliated with the other GAMESPOT players, click here for details. :)

When making a post like this, it is important to tell us if your WiFi Connector has worked at all yet. Did you just get it or have you been using it already and know that it is fine?

I just bought World of Goo and I have played a few stages of level one, and it is quite a fun game.

I have a few questions about the game and I hope someone here knows the answers

  1. What does OCD stand for? I have had it happen twice so far and I think it has something to do with best score.
  2. Is there a manual for this game? If there was even a simple manual, it might have answered question 1
  3. I have heard that it has a 2 player option. Does anyone know how this works, as I have not seen a 1 or 2 player option?
  4. I have heard that it uses Wii Connect24, but I am not sure how or why.
Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.
