So what they mean is: We heard that players were unhappy with the 20 minutes of content we put into the 1st game so we are going to make a new game for people to buy with an hour of content in it*

*Extra half of the game available for purchase via online store.

The fact that Destiny feels the need to justify the whole point of itself (getting new gear/loot) by making it the focus the 'new big plot' is just sad.

@EXxile: Not entirely but I think it's a symptom of it. Besides the point is that people who preorder don't get a chance to see what the game is like before it actually comes out and by then it's too late because they have already spent the money.

Please don't pre-order. We all know that they will release the skeleton of the real game and then flesh it out with 'expansions' later on.

Don't buy into this until you know what you are paying for.

This is why you shouldn't pre-order. If Bioware didn't already have your money then they would have an incentive to make a game actually worth paying for.

Why do the comments always turn into a console debate? It would be great if everyone could talk about, oh I don't know, the game that the review is actually about?

It looks a lot less 'Frontier space exploration with a mysteriously intriguing and well paced plot' and a lot more "Hey, could you help me get across that big valley because I need to find and scan some funky space plants, oh no! some angry aliens! *shooting and space magic* *Returns to base after*

I bet it ends up having the emotional impact of a flaccid celery.

Another classic "I've seen some sh*t" gruff voice for our lead character! It looks so good though. I'm loving the double main character thing with Corvo and Emily. It's going to make second play throughs so much fun.

I bought Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY edition from the xbox store for £10 the other day. The best £10 I have spent on a game this year. Probably because I know I'll get hours upon hours of content out of it, plus it's re-playability value.

Even if this was going for £10 it still would not have bought it. I will have completed most of the new content in a few hours. Where is worth in that? You just end up grinding the same content over and over all for some piece of gear you may or may not get.

Destiny vanilla: £40 on release, Dark Below & House of Wolves: £20 each, Taken King: £40, Rise of Iron: £25.

£145 if you bought everything on release. Think how much you could get instead for that kind of cash.

I'll stick with my £10 RPG thanks.
