I went into the demo expecting an over the top shooter that wasn't going to take itself seriously and wouldn't be any fun as a game. The only reason I gave it a chance was because I enjoyed MadWorld and Bayonetta. I was right about it being over the top and about it not taking itself seriously, but it was fun. I went from not caring about Vanquish to a likely first day buyer.

I had the same great feeling playing MGS4 the second time I played it, and I'm still enjoying it very much on my third.

Games are rated based generally on their first play through and features they have to offer. To rate a game again would have no real meaning. Most gamers really only look at reviews for games they want to purchase and most will buy the game earlier rather than later. The six months later review would act more so as an update for current players and by that time they already have their own opinion of the game.

I miss my old Rainbow Six Vegas days. My friends and I were playing one night I'll never forget it. We were playing T-Hunt on LVU Campus. My friend would always throw a grenade through the lower door. We had friendly fire off, and every time he threw it, it would hit my other friend in the back and kill the first friend. The first time we laughed, but thought nothing of it. I kid you not, he did this for almost an hour. Every time he threw a grenade I'd hear "OH NO NOT AGAIN!" He'd try to throw around him, but he'd get blocked, he tried to throw high, but hit the overhang. The last time he threw it and ran back. Two seconds later he was killed by a terrorist. Easily one of the best nights of my gaming career.

Personally I've found more games I like on the PSN. XBLA has more hit games like Shadow Complex, Case Zero, and a few other big titles. Overall though I play my PSN games a lot more than any XBLA games I have.

Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3... I`ve gone back to them so many times but I never end up following through. Played MGS 1 and 4 though.

I did the exact same thing. I really thought I was going to like White Knight Chronicles, but I just can't get into it. That and FFXIII, depending on where I am in the game. I loved the first few hours where you got to meet the characters and stuff, but after Bartandilus (did i spell that right?) I totally lost interest.

Sins of a Solar Empire, Guild Wars (and all of its add-ons), The Witcher, StarCraft II, Dawn of War 2, Supreme Commander 1&2. Then there are the slightly under appreciated games like Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, Shattered Horizon, and Demigod.

The game will still let you select a difficulty, I found medium to be easy enough. Some of the fights can get hectic, but the story is worth any trouble.

[QUOTE="Iantheone"]Oh man its awesome having most of my games on Steam and NEVER having to worry about something like that.mr_poodles123
Ya, well unfortunately none of my friends play PC gaming and if they heard I did they would probably shun me for life.

Sounds like it's time to find some new friends lol. I mean no offense dude. Jokes aside allowing users to burn their game to another disc will never remain honest. Just askDP
