I think a little extra time is almost always to the benefit to the game. I know Madden will come up a lot on here and for good reason, but I will say this for EA, they didn't rush NBA Elite to market. They knew it was going to flop, so they gave the devs a lot more time to work on it. I'm sure it will be better as a result and might cause them to take a look at their other franchises. I'm sure a lot more people would buy Madden (talking about non buyers or every other year buyers) if they take some time to add noteworthy new features. But again, they are making money now so they'll just keep doing what they are doing.

Maybe it was just me but I had the hardest time with the final boss of Final Fantasy XIII. Not the last one, but the second form that could drain your life then kill you in one hit. I don't even know how I beat it. I remember starting the battle and the next thing I know he's almost dead. Then memory of the entire middle of the battle is gone. Maybe it is because I was REALLY pissed off.

Technically a review is an opinion piece. A review may say that a game is not fun, or looks bad. There will always be players who disagree. I myself have disagreed with many reviews. I've been playing DC Universe Online since it released, a game that Gamespot said didn't have enough to keep it interesting after the first month. I found their opinion of the game to be incorrect. You cannot be definitive in reviewing a game because you cannot write a review that is guaranteed to take into account the tastes of every gamer. As such, they are opinion pieces.

Intro - Mass Effect 2 Ending - If we're talking ending sequence (like last 20 mins kinda thing) I'd say Halo CE, if we're talking actual ending, Minerva's Den or Mafia II

I like it. I don't use it to replace my Dualshock of course, but it's a fun alternative. I like pulling out the sharpshooter once and a while and killing some Helghast, or shoot some hoops in 2K11. I agree though that it needs better games, and not just support in games like Killzone 3 and Socom 4.

I'd say get it for PS3. That way you get the PC or Mac version free, then you can trade-in the PS3 version if you don't want to keep it. Saves you a lot of money that way. You have to figure at launch they'll offer at least $25 for store credit and close to $20 cash if not that. Personally I'm buying and keeping it for PS3, the PC version is just a HUGE plus.

Considering how good their multiplayer has been with the Bad Company games, I'm not too concerned that the multiplayer will be affected by their work on a more serious single player. Being a fan of single player campaigns in games, I hope the make a good one.

Not alot (or enough) of people are playing this fantastic PSN game.

One question, for the different difficulty level trophies, do you have to restart a fresh campaign each time or you can select "single mission" to keep your armor pieces and just select "grim" or "morbid" difficulty ?

As long as you do every mission on that difficulty it counts. Also, you carry over your armor even if you start a new campaign. I haven't played since I got the platinum but I would love to get back into it.

Just start a new game and you can select either the original single player or Severed.
