@bluepuppy82 Kevin didn't review Titan fall and I would agree with this score. I've been eagerly awaiting this game ever since Bungie broke away from Microsoft and announced they were working on something new. Bungie's last series, Halo, was a very minimalistic series. There was plot and lore in that game, but you were only forced to dip your toes in it. What was there was good, (who doesn't remember SGT Johnson or some of Master Chiefs epic one liners?) but they weren't exactly going for a groundbreaking narrative. It's a similar situation in Destiny. The story is still aside in favor of stellar gameplay, beautiful level design and excellent art direction. But unlike Halo, the story that is there is bad. It's not that it couldn't have been good: Humanity having suffered incredible losses is desperately clinging to life in attempt to regain their foothold in the solar system. But it was told in such an emotionless way. There are no memorable characters, scenes, or stories that I can think of having completed the main campaign. And while the gameplay still holds my interest for now I don't think I'll remember the game for it's semi-worth-it gameplay alone. Pete Parsons from bungie mentioned how he wanted Destiny to sit alongside popular entertainment such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. I don't think they've achieved that this time around.
