If Project Beast is their only exclusive for the PS4, it'll be enough for me to declare victory.

The only exception is if Nintendo reveals a brand new Zelda game in the vein of OOT/MM for the WiiU. Or even a new Metroid Prime. But they have to be BRAND NEW GAMES, not REMASTERS.

I've always been apprehensive about this game.

I've seen nothing but QTE gameplay and I hate QTE games.

I hope I'm wrong about it. I hope it's more action-packed and gamer-controlled. Scripted sequences bore me to tears.

This may come as a shock to many, and an insult to fanboys, but...

Titanfall has VERY LITTLE REPLAY VALUE.

And for a FPS, that's pretty disturbing if you ask me. It was literally a "flavor of the month" for March. I bought it for the PC, played it for about 3 weeks and dropped it as soon as Diablo RoS came out. (And considering how lame RoS turned out to be, that's saying something.)

NVidia and ATI have been playing DIRTY since the Radeon 9700 Pro came out and challenged Nvidia's once-monopolizing DX marketshare back in the 2000's.

Ever since, it's been all about sleazy deals and cheating on benchmarks.

It's really irrelevant if everyone in YOUR game is running at the same FPS.

It only matters on PCs where everyone has all crazy configurations and some people are running on 4-year old $100 hardware vs. some people running on 2-week old $2000 hardware.

On consoles, the playing field is level so nobody cares.

I think your definition of "way worse" isn't the same as most other people's.

That's why most people don't care. It's really not a big deal except for the nerd-ragers who expect Release Day perfection, which happens like 0.0001% of the time.

And, oh yea, PS+ is still $10 cheaper a year than XBL Gold and there's no paywall for free apps and built-in hardware features to begin with on PSN.

Pretty easy to figure out if you ask me.

Here's one thing they could do to deflate this news:

PS4 + Vita Bundle for $500

That would completely devalue the XB1 + Kinect AND move more Vitas, which provide Remote play for PS4 games anyway.

In a way, the VITA is a better PS4 accessory than the Kinect is a XB1 accessory.

And, oh yea, the VITA has its own lineup of standalone games to boot AND can piggyback an existing PS+ subscription.

That would probably be the Death Knell for the XB1. But as I said above, there's no need for Sony to play that card yet. Sony's selling every PS4 they make at $400. Until they develop an overstock, they can just sit tight and focus on showing off games.

Sony doesn't need to do anything but show more games at E3 running at 1080p & 30/60fps. (including multiplats)

Everyone else is playing catch-up to Sony.

Although - if Sony DID drop the PS4 to $375, it would pretty much KILL the XB1 with or without the Kinect. But Sony doesn't need to play that card yet.

Good idea on Microsoft's part.

Too bad taking out the Kinect still won't make the games run at 1080p native though...
