Koei somewhat listen to their fans on facebook. They talk with them. Kinda have to though. :P

timmy00
They do! Actually I've heard they done this before but do they do it often? I'm trying to fight the social network evolution.
I heard a rumor that Koei are considering discontinuing the Warriors series outside of Japan. Did they make any comments about it?
Listen to this: http://www.slideshare.net/bcousins/paying-to-win When EA were being fair and listening to 'the fans' they weren't making any money. The truth is most people of every fanbase don't care or even like the changes they make. People who speak their voices AT ALL (us) are the minority. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VocalMinority ^^^^^^ Read it.

.....Those are arm chair general jackasses.. Your going to get that in any community.... And furthermore I want to know how you play to win Diablo 2.. A game you really never beat in the end.. What realm do you play on.. If you play on USeast i will hop onsSubZerOo
The game doesn't work for more than a few minutes on my PC. After a few minutes the colors mess up and these big blobs of purple surround by a ring of green cover everything and I can't see. I've already uninstalled the game but I'll reinstall if you just want to talk or something? If you know a fix that would be great as well. :)

sSubZerOo... omg *sighs* its like you have no reading comprehension. I agree that the competitiveness is pathetic. I don't like RPGs as multiplayer games at all because they're too luck based. I was not defending at all. Second, what realm do you play on? I have meant some nice people but most usually ignored me, the people who did talk to me tell me what the community was like. Its even in the latest build I've read: http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/370600-diablo-ii-lord-of-destruction/faqs/13697 "The general idea behind a Wolfbrother is to create a shape shifting-summoning hybrid who specializes in wolves. Seems simple right? Well you'd be surprised. There are many, many out there who have turned their noses up at me at my idea. Telling me that it "suxxors" and all that other clever bnet slang that people are wont to throw about. I of course remind them that it's just a game and at least I'm having fun doing my own thing rather than copying someone else's tired idea. Their response is almost always going hostile." Its not like I'm mocking Diablo, almost all online games are pretty much like this. If you're good you are a no life virgin. if you suck you should quit the game. If you're not playing to win you shouldn't be playing online games. This has always been my experience and I've just learned to ignore it.

Thank you for that link Baranga. Unfortunately my focus medicine has stopped working suddenly and my ADHD is acting up. I can't read a few lines of text without my mind drifting off several times. But I just want to get my word in on this. http://www.diablofans.com/topic/26397-the-auction-house-explained/#5 This gave me a LOT of mix feelings. This is a very brilliant way to counter the gold sellers and it also allows EVERYONE to get it on it! (Some people still don't believe in using credit cards over the Internet.) I still however thing it is ultimately a bad decision and I was actually hoping that Blizzard... hold on *turns on flame shield* would actually charge a monthly fee for Diablo 3 to fund a super-duper anti cheating system and an army of in game mods to combat gold sellers. i have said qutie a few times in my posting history is that I believe in an even playing field with a flat fee for everyone no matter what! but since they haven't done that I guess they came up with the next best thing; they decide to embrace cheating in a way that may not actually ruin the game.I still see a lot of problems, I can see a LOT of geed coming from this and I still believe they came up with this system mostly out of geed. Why help your friend out of build a gear set for an alt when you can just set it to pay for your WoW account that runs out in a few days? I'm off for now because I can't focus so I'll read the rest in the morning. EDIT: Stop stealin' ma spaces Gamespot! :x
Dude, have you ever heard of World of Warcraft? :P Money isn't exactly one of Blizzard's problems...

Yes, I've thought of that. The thing is though is that as a public owned company they have investors, which is pleased by always making more money than you did after your last set of paychecks. If a company suddenly stops growing they'll start shrinking for a few reasons I don't fully understand because I'm not education in this kind of thing, but as far as I know that's the business world for you. In my opinion though its very clear Blizzard is going to make millions off of the box fee alone to not only get massive profits for the game but literally keep the online alive for lifetimes and this AH is just pure greed. But like I've said I think they want to kill the competitive scene and like others have said its impossible to stop illegal trading anyway.

ANOTHER THING (sorry for the triple post but GameSpot sometimes takes away all spaces in edits and I don't want to turn my last post into a wall.) Something I think people don't realize about businesses is that pleasing their investors is NOT option. They NEED to make more money than they made last time to do so as well. Games have became so expensive to make they need an annual income to do so. No company can't just release one awesome game filled with huge loads of content and take their sweet time spending the next 3 or so years making the next game better in every way while releasing patches with more content for their last game on their spare time. So they plan out DLC and slowly release that to fund their next game. With this AH thing Blizzard wouldn't need to sell download content, they will have an unlimited stream of money. Blizzard thinks like I do actually; instead of releasing a a sequel every few years with a dozen of minor improvements and maybe a few major ones, release a game that can keep itself alive forever and only release a sequel many use later when you have a lot of new technology to create and entire new game where everything is a major improvement.

I'm not gonna reply to this thread anymore but after really thinking about it, I can see where you guys* are coming from (*Xaosll, Birdy09, sSubZerOo) Although this will kill the competitive scene Diablo was never a good competitive game nor was it ever meant to be competitive. The entire competitiveness of Diablo consisting of (A) Who could get to level 99 with the best gear ever first. (B) Coming up with the most skill/gear combination possible for PVE. (C) Coming up with skill/gear combos that were greatly overpowered in PVP. The largest group of people I've meant that only played Diablo offline said they did so because of how mean and 'unfun' the people online were. You know why I didn't get into Diablo? Everyone only wants to rush to level 80+ so they can start doing Nightmare/Hell Baal runs. No one wants to actually ****ing play! And worst, since I'm new and don't know where to go and what to do, they don't want to rush with me. On top of that; they will not accept you unless you are playing a cookie cutter build that was proven to work. In fact if you used anything other than a cookie cutter build they mocked you, insulted you. Blizzard considers the people who just want to mess around with friends as their true player base. They would rather have their competitive players play World of Warcraft or Starcraft 2. And worst, the competitive players ruin things for the people who just want to have fun.

TC, I did not read the entire OP but I think you're talking about this. http://www.funnyjunk.com/funny_pictures/307706/what+trolls+want+you+to+think/ Sometimes people were not trolling and were really just stupid. When they realize their mistake they try to act like trolling all along when they weren't. EDIT: Still can't type, still can't proofread.
