Back in the day i loved fighters, sports and racing games now i can't stand them.. i am also starting to hate competitive online modes in games but that is a community issue.

If you kill him immediately, the Fire Keeper will live, and you will receive humanity and another goody I think. However, if you let him live and kill the Fire Keeper, you will receive an item called.. Black Eye (something, can't remember). After beating the bosses in New Londo Ruins, the Black Eye will resonate, allowing you to invade Lauretec's world. After a battle with Lauretec, if you are victorious, you will revive the Fire Keeper, obtain more humanity, his entire armour set, and a ring.
Agreed. You can switch targets it just refuses to do it 90% of the time.. i just double tap r3 to lock off whatever target i am on and lock on to hopefully the nearest enemy, seems to work okay. When that fails i run away lol.
i gave up on my character when i made it to the boar (magic is weak now).. spent like 2 hours trying to get through the catacombs at level 8 (possibly lower, first area i went to) damn graveyard got my ass kicked anyways i figured that was way to hard to be (but kept trying lol) and ran out of there back to the bonfire and the skeletons chased me for a while but gave up before i got there.. So pretty sure they don't chase you forever..
