Yoshida says on Twitter 'look at multiplatform games this year' in response to someone's question asking if games will look better on PS4.

Some idiot makes it into an official story on N4G whereby Sony apparently 'confirm they wont allow console parity.'

Another idiot then spreads that idiocy to system wars.

/thread.

Yup... business as usual.

Deus Ex HR did the best job, I'd say, successfully revived the series, and made it relevant once again, as it should be!

Also, I think CoD 4 was a major step forward compared to CoD 3, which felt really stale. All CoD hate aside, one would have to be crazy to deny the quality and significance of CoD 4, which took a very bold step ahead for the franchise.

There's also the new Tomb Raider, which may not be appreciated by all the fans of the original TR games, but I still think it's awesome. And as FF said, CoJ Gunslinger was a very unexpected, yet pleasant surprise after the abortion known as Cartel.

Not really. Some of the most socially inept people I've ever met in my entire life have also been some of the "smartest" people. I've seen guys who scored a perfect 100% on the ASVAB who couldn't remember to lock their drawers when they walked away from their racks. And the f*cking keys were attached to our dog tags around our neck. Takes a special kind of stupid to do that. Most of these guys were Nuclear Techs, which is where the phrase "Don't nuke it" comes from. TC is nuking it for sure.

And it takes a special type of stupid to not realize the difference between valid empirical evidence and personal anecdotes.

Sorry, but the only thing the evidence is pointing to is that you are stupid.

Cool analysis, kid. I'll happily be stupid while playing the best next-gen console while you're busy fellating your favorite multi-billion dollar company.

Can I please be removed from this quote chain?

Is this at the manufacturer level, or the publisher level? I was under the impression that publishers had the same leeway on the PS4, though this could have been changed.

Curious about the same thing... if it's on a manufacturer level, guess we might finally see some life in SW... and by life, I mean meltdowns, rage and shit!

How curious... I struck the nerve of a person to whom my post wasn't addressed in any shape or form...

nice one Sean.

i very highly recommend 'the swapper'.

As do I, loved that game!

Anyways, I'm interested in Don't Starve and Rogue Legacy, could pick them up for $7.

Don't starve is awesome

How is the game structured, is there an SP campaign, or are there just some survival attempts, or whatever?

Cool, good for you... not sure why do you insist on wasting time acting as a rabid fanboy, though... but hey, not my place to judge.

I'll also say the open world genre... don't see the way any of the more advanced current open world games could work on 6th gen systems without severe downgrades, which would suck out the essence of the game.

Aside from that, there's the matter of MP oriented titles, since on-line infrastructure on current gen consoles is miles ahead of anything we ever had before.

However, if I'm allowed to bring in the PC, I'll also mention the Crysis franchise, Crysis games would be unrecognizable without their trademark top quality visuals.
