I'm hyping it a 9. I will personally take the ownage if it falls short.
That's the spirit... too bad your fellow cows, the ones who hyped the game to high heavens, are running scared now when it's time to put up, or shut up.
I would also liked to point out that the so called master race, prefers cod-liek operation lockout as it is by far the most popular server/map/mode "OPERATION LOCKERS 1000 TICKET FAST EXPS!11111" mayaswell play cod.
The "master race" minority on the forums is hardly an accurate representation of the overall PC community. But, it's nice to see those goal posts being moved.
It may not be a looker, but it most certainly looks more fun than any other launch title.
Also, to those of you nitpicking slight glitches like zombies getting stuck, or some clipping issues, keep in mind the game pushes hundreds of zombies on screen at once, and it's not even out yet, so there's still time for extra polish. But even in the final product, you'll see a few of those minor inconsistencies, but who cares, it's hardly gamebreaking stuff.
My friend got one in 2007, the performance was impressive. It lasted him until 2011, I think, when the fan died. Still, all that time, he could manage to play a lot of modern games at high settings on a 1680x1050 monitor, only thing it couldn't handle properly were the shadows, they'd always have to be turned down.
