GS uses timers for Reviews. Killzone review in 1d12h49m

So some of you may notice that on the top top left of the website while not making a new post there is a timer to the review for Killzone Shadowfall.

Well, whether or not this is brand new or if they have done it before, that idea pretty much confirms that the reviews are in much more trouble than we though. But I guess it can excite a few people.

It's been up there for every major game since they site overhaul.. There has always been review embargos. Just a cool feature for gamespot to show us when a review is coming.

What does that have to do with Embargos? GS RandC review did not have this and GS was one of the last to review it.

Maybe they don't consider RnC a major game? It was there for ghosts and battlefied. They already have a review written, but they are not allowed, per Sony and or Guerilla to release it until that date. IDK why man, everything has street dates, even reviews now. This was the case all throughout most of last gen as well. Microsoft won't allow anyone to review xbox games until a later date as well. If you check the reviews for BF4, Ghosts, AC4, they all apply to all versions of the game, including the PS4 but NOT the xbone.. That's the embargo they have..

I've seen embargos lifted up to 2 weeks from when the game will release, to not until the day of release. Not exactly sure how they decide how long they want it to be.

How does a timer indicate that a game review is in trouble????

It doesn't..lol He was trying to use it as the review for the actual game is in trouble because its so bad is what I got from it.

I see the reviewers giving this a 9 just because of how overhyped next gen consoles are, and how hyped they want us to be. (its a conspiracy)

So is there official hype for this game?

gamespot's reviews are so mind-boggling right now I see them giving the game an 8 and marking it down for mindless violence

If this scores anything less than a 9 then it will cause meltdowns as this is the only PS4 exclusive that people seem excited about (I don't know why after KZ3 though)
