The game looks pretty fun, and I love the particle effects, but damn, the environments look bland, it's all grey!

The game was never a QTE fest, the devs said there were only a few parts featuring QTEs, so removing them was easy.

Well, even Sony has to adapt to modern industry strategies if they want to stay afloat.

Despite my negative thoughts on Uncharted, it still is a system seller for Sony, which means they have to capitalize on it. Much easier than coming up with a new IP, which is why I expect less new IPs from Sony this gen. Even now we already have Killzone and inFamous, now UC joined the bunch, and I even think GT dev hinted at a next gen GT game. Expect to see God of War next... there's a reason for the ambiguous GoW3 ending.

Let's see if next gen will finally help them nail the combat mechanics, since the gunplay in UC franchise might as well be the worst I saw in AAA shooters.

As it stands now, the UC franchise is all flash, no substance... wonder if they can change that.

I'd have a few lingering concerns, yeah.

I mean, for $400, a PS4 is a pretty powerful console, so there's always a possibility Sony skimped on some part to make it as affordable as possible, which could come and bite them in the ass soon. Still, I'd like to think the whole hardware industry learned their lesson from RRoD.

I feel like I'm really stating the obvious here, but stuff like this should always be taken with a grain of salt... just because some random guy on the Internet finished the game in 3 hours, doesn't mean the same will apply to you.

It's pretty sad when modders have to fix a modern game.

Nice to see modders improving an already solid product, but when mods are necessary to fix major game elements, it sucks. A product like that, little chance I'd pay anything over 10 EUR.

True,,, must say, those textures reminded me of old Tomb Raider games:

When the game looks like shit, that's a major negative... tout gameplay as much as you want, but bad graphics are definitely a drawback which needs to be called out.
